Balfe's Bikes Waterloo

My bike was totally busted when I brought it in, but the guys at this workshop repaired it to an as-new condition for a very reasonable price while being professional, polite and friendly with me at all times. I recommend Balfe's Waterloo workshop to anyone looking to fix up their bike; it's a great team staffed by highly skilled people.

I bought a bike with them a few months ago through my Cycle to Work scheme, and despite a couple of hiccups (mainly due to the scheme) everyone I dealt with was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with my queries. I also had an issue with my mudguards breaking the day after I picked up my bike and they dealt with it in the most professional way. Highly recommend this store and I wouldn't hesitate to go back should I need a service or to buy any kit!

Was out and about on delivery, ended up south of the river and the flat tyre I I was expecting all day happened 4 miles from home. Having had my mini pump stolen and it being a Sunday I didn’t have high hopes as to get it pumped up but luckily Balfes Bikes Waterloo were open and just 0.3 miles away. The gentlemen’s in there was extremely helpful and pumped it up for me making sure to check the necessary psi for the tyre. I forget his name now, I think it was Jake or Jack but he was working a Sunday 6th Aug. Very helpful didn’t except any money from me. Also got a large range of bikes and accessories in store at reasonable prices. Will definitely return and definitely recommend.

Five star service from Alessandro the mechanic and all the team at Balfe's. I turned up with a broken rear mech hanger and Alessandro replaced it and had me back on two wheels within 20 minutes. Top class service and a big thank you.

You can see why all the reviews are great - BECAUSE THEYRE GREAT!! Sean fixed up a hole in my tyre and replaced the inner-tube for £8 - you cant say fairer than that. I'm simply never going an where else. They are competent, reasonably priced, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. They're the good guys.

Great bunch of guys, I got stranded with a flat tyre on a Sunday and they were super busy but went out of way to help me out and even offered me a mince pie (shame I don't like it ) will defo be going back and recommending them to my friends

I went to Balfe's today with a rear wheel puncture. I had collected my bike from a different shop earlier that day, where they had apparently repaired the same problem. Unfortunately, after only about 20 minutes of cycling the same problem recurred.The team at Balfe's Waterloo were absolutely fantastic. They sorted out my puncture and got me a new tire. My bike was fixed quickly. The team were very professional and kind. In particular, Shaun (the mechanic) very kindly didn't charge me for labour and Long (another member of staff) was lovely and very understanding throughout. I would definitely recommend Balfe's Waterloo! Thank you so much!

The staff at Balfe’s saved my bacon today!I picked up a puncture in central London and realised I’d left my repair kit in another bag, after trudging around London in the rain trying to find a bike shop (miraculously there are very few open on a Saturday) I ended up at Balfe’s Waterloo store. The staff were (unlike a respected folding bike manufacture that I also visited, who won’t be named) kind, generous and endlessly helpful and rescued me from what had otherwise been a very frustrating afternoon. I was quickly back on two fully inflated wheels and on my way home to dry off.I can’t emphasise enough the outstanding quality of service I received from everyone I dealt with at Balfe’s today and was very grateful that they were one of few bike shops open on a Saturday afternoon.If anyone from Balfe’s management team is reading this, please buy these guys a pizza!
