Approach Farm Caravan Site

We have stayed here also have our caravan stored here. It is a lovely quiet place if you just want to chill out. Buses at the end of the road, short walk into village. Angus, Kerry and Margaret are lovely people very helpful nothing too much trouble.

This is a great small, peaceful and relaxing site. The pitches are very well maintained. The family who run it are extremely friendly and approachable if you need anything. There is a games room. Suitable for families and couples alike. Highly recommended. Great location and some lovely views, lots to do and explore in the local area.

perfect little site nice and peaceful and very well kept grass level pitches with electric one outside toilet /water/waste disposal. unfortunately no showers so its use your own .15 min walk into Riccall which has one pub Hare & Hounds Large beer garden at rear and skysports... Also bus stop outside site at end of lane 10-15 min bus ride into york which was £6 return every 10mins perfect base and cheap will be be calling again

Whether we come for a weekend break or a weeks holiday we love coming to Approach farm, its very well kept and Angus and kerry are extremely helpful and accommodating. We have stored our caravan here for a while now and my eldest son and nephew have grew up coming on holiday here. Even now they are approaching teenagers they're always excited to visit.

Had a great time at this farm, lovely and clean. Well looked after, clean water, bins, toilet and waste facilities. People were lovely too. Had a great stay.

Have spent many nights on this site and love it. Quiet and well run.

This is great little site perfectly situated off the main York to Selby road but away from the traffic noise. It is very peaceful. The owners are very obliging and a lovely family. We keep the caravan in storage there so it's easy for us just to book and turn up. Caravan sited just need to connect up.Look forward to many happy visits this coming year!!

We have stored our caravan here for many years, at first we toured and used the site but now we have given up touring and only use the site. We really like the site , it’s very handy for touring around many different places but also to getting into York , the shopping is excellent with all the retail outlets and the designer centre just a few miles down the road, in fact for the last few years we have done all our Christmas shopping whilst we are staying at the caravan. The site is usually very nice and quite and peaceful, ideal for relaxing. Angus and Kerry are very friendly and helpful, Angus always tows our caravan in and out for us which is a big bonus to us. Kerry is very helpful too, even going out and purchasing fresh laid eggs from a local farm when her own hens gave up laying. We hope to use this site for many more years.David and Catherine Steventon

We have stored our caravan at Approach Farm for about 10 years and Angus tows our van put so that it is on a pitch when we arrive. The service they offer is excellent and each time we have stayed we have found both him and Kerry to be very friendly and helpful. The site is kept very tidy and is suitable for couples and families. The village is nearby and has all the amenities needed. Strongly recommend this quiet, friendly site
