Arnold Clark Perth Vauxhall / Fiat / Abarth/ Jeep/ Alfa Romeo

Bought a new car. The whole process was easy and seamless. I got a good trade-in price and had a good idea of what car I would like. The salesperson Victor took time to get me the right car. I even got the car the same day. I went in to hand in the V5 and spare key for my old car today, and I got a valet, which wasn't done yesterday because it was late. The dashboard was in Km per hour, so I got that changed easily, too. Nothing is too much trouble.

Absolutely appalling customer service. If I could leave less than 1 star it still would be too much. We dealt with Aberdeen branch who we are still waiting for them to tell us the car we were interested in was available to test drive. We then went to Perth. Test drove it. Ordered the car and was basically blackmailed into paying money two weeks before collection. When we said no we received an apology from the manager. Then the car was “lost”. In transit. The manager said he found it after a week and a half and would call when he had it in Perth. Not heard from him. I don’t think they want to sell us a car. Shambolic worst car dealership we have ever dealt with.

I have been a customer of Arnold Clark for many years firstly at their St Leonard’s Bank location then at the Dunkeld road Motor Store and now at their new premises at the Triangle in Perth. I have enjoyed wonderful service over the years in their car servicing, car hire and since January 2017 car leasing. I have never experienced better service anywhere else ever and I enjoy even popping in for a look round at the cars whilst getting a wee health check for my lovely BMW 118i. I also have complete trust in every respect with how my car is looked after for me. If I could give more stars I would and finally I love the fact that the two long standing receptionists deserve a mention as they are absolutely fantastic! Thank you to Caroline and Trina and all the service and sales staff at the Arnold Clark Motor Store!

Avoid this place! I purchased a car online and there were features on the website advertisement that were not included in the car. They tried to hide costs within the finance agreement which were agreed within writing prior to sale. After mentioning these features missing from the vehicle, staff members still try to advise me the vehicle contained these. Didn’t receive an apology for multiple errors even after dealing with the General Manager!Update: the vehicle has now be re listed and still incorrect, quite comical at this point.

“Customer service is the direct one-on-one interaction between a consumer making a purchase and a representative of the company that is selling it. Most retailers see this direct interaction as a critical factor in ensuring buyer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.” Well, usually!But not, it seems, Arnold Clark in Perth who see “customer service” as a critical factor in completely and utterly wasting the customers time! When it happened the first time, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but it just happened again! Whoever runs this place needs to be out of there because they’ve done an excellent job of screwing any interest I ever had in both Jeep and Alfa brands and, if they’re having that effect on me then the manufacturers need to take not that it’s happening to other customers as well……

I bought my new car online from here , as I live in Manchester, they shipped it to the local click and collect in Altrincham for me and provided the space saver I asked for as part of the deal , great service from Gary keir

Just want to say a huge thankyou to Viktor and the team for helping me with my new car! I live quite far so he had the car transported to me and he had everything done so it was quick and easy when the car got to me. Nothing was too much trouble, even sent me a fully detailed video of the inside and out of the car before hand. Where the doncaster team then took over, let me test drive it and continued the great customer service! Thankyou!!

This is a review of car hire for learner drivers at this Arnold Clark branch. In a word - AMAZING!!! We have been regular visitors over the past few months as our son was learning to drive. I never got the names of the 2 young ladies that booked the hire car out each time but they are incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful. Advice to practise around Oakbank area was spot on!The cars are super good value with a young scot card as you are getting a dual controlled hire car for only £24 with a free hour thrown in. That covers the car hire, fuel AND insurance.Our son booked out the car for his driving test and passed! When he returned to Arnold Clark after his test, the staff were really genuinely happy for him - made his day!The branch is clean, efficient. Customer toilets always a bonus after a 2 hr drive with my learner son. I am actually going to miss our regular trips to Arnold!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH!
