Took my piaggio x8 125cc moped here for a few bits and a mot last week.10/10for staff being so kind and having a laughAnd very understanding with everything.10/10for the work they did was brilliant and would highly recommend.10/10Really good on prices and was even able to have a seat out side as they brought my bike out for me very happy with everythingWould definitely recommend.

I took my new motorbike to MOT , they didn’t tell me the price before I was expected only 50£ only to fix shock absorber they charge me 381£ that if I would buy it would be 80£ , fix more expensive than the part lol , I recommend 0% , that was my first and last ,

Came and collected my RM85 Motocross bike that needed a new wheel and brakes, very pleasant and friendly, although a few teething problems getting hold of one but they persisted and got the job done.All the staff are great, polite and always happy to help.Dropped my bike back off to me all done.Would recommend to anyone.Thanks again guys, I can now have my first ride on it!

Was charged for work that hadn't been carried out.Was then lied to on the phone by the owner!

I change my tyre from there , in 1 month I have to change again , service r expensive but not worthy .

Had a few issues with my sons moped. Spoke to the guy in the shop and couldn't do enough to help to get the bike sorted for the MOT.Well today it passed just by the skin of its teeth.So if you are looking for a bike shop that is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable you must go to The Gearbox Bike Shop.

THIS PLACE SAVED MY BACON ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS WHEN I HAD PUNCTURES!The Gearbox is a family owned bike shop, primarily providing servicing, MOTs etc as well as a wide range of clothing for bikers. Helmets, jackets, jeans, boots, it's all here. (They also have a few bikes for sale).Whilst I've never bought any kit here, I've been here twice now, both times involved me having a puncture. In one instance I had multiple punctures and they managed to get me back in the road (minus the air flying out my rear tyre). These guys managed to fix my issues at very short notice. If you're in the local area and you've got a puncture, it's worth phoning these guys up and seeing if they can sort you out. They can be busy at times but the care they show and the willingness to help bikers really is admirable and I'm going to be coming back here more often. (Hopefully without puncture). Most recently I were at The Gearbox to get a tyre changed (because I had get another puncture). They managed to sort me out the same day and got me on my way.Thank you guys for what you do for the biking community.
