BRAT Restaurant
We have a group of 3 people with high expectations on the food. However, we have encountered unsatisfactory quality of food, including entree, main dishes, soup. Most of them were super salty and with special taste (e.g mixture of taste in crab toast with sour sweet and salty in different pieces of toast). The crab soup made me super disappointed as with salty and viscous texture. I have never tried crab soup with these type of texture and taste. The only impressive food was the burnt cream cheese cake. It was brilliant but we were push to leave ( as with 90min for each reservation) and we were asked to move to bar table for dessert. In overall, I’m not satisfied with the whole experience and the food as mentioned in Michelin one star restaurants.

BRAT Restaurant
Food was average, maybe because I had expectations. The oysters were the best among all the dishes we tried; fresh and had depth to the flavours. The chorizo was fresh, peppers were slightly undercooked hence spicy. The duck rice was good, loved the slight burnt crispy bits that adds crunch to the dish. However, the mutton chop was too fatty for our liking, only 4 slices of meat and the rest were 100% fat which was too much for us. We didn’t enjoy it at all, and definitely too much fat for a main.We had cheesecake for dessert, average I would say.Overall, 6.5/10.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant with, in my view, the best steak in London. It is very busy with excellent service, just something to be aware of is that it’s a pretty small space with the tables very close together. The noise is not too bad but I was with a guest who is hard of hearing who did find it difficult to ask the waiter questions.

One of our top restaurants in London. The menu changes based on what’s in season. The thick cut bread is our favourite in the city. The house made chorizo and duck rice are so flavourful. Friendly and attentive service. The space is well designed, cozy pub vibes. Highly recommend!

Our meal at Brat was simply one of the best we enjoyed during our stay in London. We heard about your wonderful restaurant from friends back home in the US and then saw it featured on Someone Feed Phil. The experience was amazing, the service, the ambiance, and the food was incredibly delicious. The Turbot had me sucking on the bones to get every morsel, the squid was exquisite, and the bread made for an excellent tool to capture the sauce of the turbot. I would recommend anyone visiting London must make it a goal to stop by your fine establishment. Cheers

Hidden gem in the city centre of London. The interior is amazing and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We ordered some plates to share and they were just perfect. The bread with burnt butter is probably the best bread we ever ate and it didn’t even fit on one plate (it was HUGE). Would highly recommend this place!

BRAT Restaurant
Brat, in my opinion, is a culinary gem with outstanding food that never fails to impress. The flavors and creativity that go into each dish are simply remarkable, making it a haven for food enthusiasts. However, I do feel that the staff's attentiveness could be improved to match the high standard of the cuisine. While the service isn't lacking, a bit more attention to detail would enhance the overall dining experience.Additionally, some might find the menu slightly overpriced, but considering the exceptional quality of ingredients and the culinary expertise, it's a price I'm willing to pay for a memorable meal. Despite these minor points, Brat remains our favorite restaurant. The unique flavors and the cozy ambiance create an unforgettable dining atmosphere that keeps us coming back for more.

The food here is superb. Spanish influenced and locally sourced British options, every dish was brilliant. A surprise favourite was the bread and burnt onion butter! I would also recommend the scallops, mushroom & spenwood and the burnt cheesecake!Portion sizes were decent and we had a few glasses of wine, with service charge it was £104 per person. It felt like a bargain for the quality of the food. We will be back!

We went there for lunch and it was one of THE BEST experiences I had in food industry. We didn’t book so we walked-in and sat at the bar. Every plate we picked was full of flavour, surprising taste and texture. Dishes were simple but mastered to perfection. I think menu changes from time to time what makes it even more exciting to come back to. Nice selection of wines and spirits. Nice ambience with old deco located on the upper level of the building. Waiters with cool and casual uniforms. We had a good recommendations from a Waiter about the wines although I was missing his smile and enthusiasm. The others seem to have the same kind of attitude. That’s why I gave one star less for service.Overall I love the place and recommend it to all my friends visiting London.I look forward going back too.
