Way Ahead Care

I received good training when joining the Wayaheadcare team, the training team was very supportive and the training was very safe and well planned. There is incentives that the company includes members in a chance to get a voucher and give something back to the care worker, its a nice idea. If I need support I know where to get it.

I’ve worked for Way ahead care (Bath) for nearly 6 years now as a care and support assistant in the community. I had previously worked for two other care companies, and I have to say Way ahead has been the best to work for.The training given was, and continues to be outstanding, and I always feel supported and able to ask for help or further training if needed. I have also managed to complete a diploma through the company which I was always supported with.All staff members are helpful and listen well, doing their best to try and help, and all the carers on the field are also supportive and work as a team.It is a highly rewarding job, with every day being different, and I’m proud to be apart of the Way Ahead Care team!

I have been working for WayAheadCare now for several months and what has been apparent since the start is the tireless effort to provide care at the highest level possible. I have been working as a Care and Support Assistant for Wayaheadcare for over 3 years now. Well, what can I say.. I am very happy to work there. I have been supported throughout the time I spent with this company. I really enjoy trainings, meetings and even the spot checks I've had so far. It made me believe in myself. It builded trust which is important to retain their employees. The care coordinators and the manager always listen to my problems and they try their best to make me happy. I feel a valuable employee and I don't regret that I am working for them. I have worked for Wayahead for well over six years. Yes, any care work can be demanding and hard work BUT very rewarding. I get a lot of pleasure from making the the difference to someone’s day and no one day is ever the same. I feel very supported and valued by the company and my thoughts and opinions are always listened to. The training provided is excellent. I am well into my seventh year with Wayahead and continue to enjoy what I do.
