Good Chef
Best Chinese takeaway food and menu I've seen outside of Stowell Street. The shop front is a bit on the tired looking side but don't let that put you off. We had really delicious steamed buns, the best aromatic duck I've had in years and very tasty beef with ho fan noodles. Very reasonable prices too. Would recommend.

Great food, this is not in dispute but maaaaan they cannot stick to delivery times.Last order was 50 minutes late and the order tonight arrived 30 minutes early. Given we select rough delivery times because we have two kids to get to sleep... so now our tea is sat getting cold.Joy!

Without doubt the worst Chinese I’ve ever had!! First they’re late, then I find it’s half the wrong order, then comes the dogsh17 food quality.... Called the restaurant and they couldn’t have been ruder or less helpful... Utterly disgusted

Ordered for the first time and will definitely order again. Food came within the quoted time frame. Everything super fresh and piping hot. We ordered the large munchie box and it was amazing value for money and huge for the two of us. Best Chinese we’ve had in a long time!

First time ordering from here and I have to say the food is amazing!We normally try somewhere new every time when we order Chinese food and we've tried loads in the Newcastle area... this place is in my top 3.Great quality meat, big king prawns and great amount of batter. Highly recommend the Honey Chilli dish.

I found a hair in my food and the staff refused to give me a refund as I had started eating. I assume they want you to sift through your food prior and look for hairs? I would avoid at all costs as instead of trying to find a solution to this the staff blandly said they couldn’t offer me a refund, so I have to pay for food I will not eat for a problem they caused, terrible customer service, AVOID.

We placed our order online and payed through PayPal. . Rang up to find out where our order was after waiting over 1 hour (no apology) and we were told it's gonna be 6 minutes (time pulled out of the air) to delivery. 25 mins later our order arrived.Feel like if you pay via PayPal, they have your money so they aren't as bothered about getting your order out.Chips were cold and my order of Chicken and mushrooms could keep vampires away for a month (and I like garlic) and the whole dish tasted of a strong fish sauce.It's enough for me to not order from here again.
