Excellent evening at the Forge party night. Food was served promptly and hot. Veg was cooked perfectly as was the turkey. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Couldn't have wished for a better evening.

Very warm and inviting. Lovley with the Christmas decorations up. Meal was great and came out quickly.Nothing was too much trouble.Meal was perfect temperature and great size portion.Bar staff very friendly and happy to serve.

Last weekend my family and I went down to The Forge for food and drinks. As it was my parents wedding anniversary there was a very large party and to be honest, naturally we didn't expect things to run smoothly due to how many of us there were.I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the new manager was and ensuring we were all seated nearby, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely fantastic and all came out in good time. The manager had all the waiters and waitresses on board to ensure our food all arrived at the same time.Everything was cooked to perfection, all staff and management were fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely.We have booked again for Sunday.Thank you Forge.

Just come back from a meal out with 14 people, first time trying this place. Food was amazing, place was very clean and staff were lovely. Will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

Went here with a friend on Wednesday. As soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome. We were served by a lovely lady called Sherri I think, who was attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for her.I ordered a hunters chicken, my friend had the cowboy burger. Bother were fresh and so tasty! I always order hunters chicken whenever I go out, and this place was by far the best. Food came out in great time and both hot!This place should be so proud of all staff, bar and kitchen. They are definitely a credit to this place, friendly and professional.We will definitely be back! I need more of that hunters chicken aha.

I went to The Forge yesterday and was immediately made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Brilliant place for food but also for a quick drink with family and friends. Will definitely be returning! :)

A lovely experience. Booked for the Festive Menu. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely. We were asked if we wanted to wait between courses which was great as it gave us a little break between each one. The table was all ready for us when we arrived. Can't fault our meal at all.

Brought my grandparents here on several occasions as they always enjoy the food, atmosphere and service and Cheri didn't disappoint us this time around either. Very friendly from the moment we entered to when we left. Food was lovely, warm and filling. Portions certainly not scrimped on. Nice to go out these days and get value for money as well as lovely service. Thank you.
