Living on the Water

Pete is meticulous in his approach to any job he undertakes. His innate ability in understanding how to get the best use out of any space lends itself to innovative and thoughtful houseboat design and build.

I am the lucky owner of a beautiful wooden boat which resides at Cumberland basin.Recently I was do doing some maintenance on my boat and met Pete Young (Living on the Water Director) who was kind enough to advise me on a few points and also carried out some wood machining for me.I hadn’t seen any of Pete’s work before, so walking into his current project I realised how multi-skilled this guy is. His boat designs are unique and impressive.
