Our family cannot recommend Funeral Services with Dignity, H.J.Whalley & Sons Funeral Directors in Preston, any more highly. Sarah went above and beyond to deliver a bespoke funeral service that exceeded our expectations. From the hours that she spent liaising with us on the Order of Service, to her management of the whole day, she was exceptional and made a very unpleasant experience the best that it could have been.

A big thank you to Sarah and her team for making such a difficult time for my family much easier to bear. My mother's funeral was on 21st February 2023, but right from my very first phone call to Sarah, I felt more at ease dealing with all the details of the funeral, as she was very understanding and professional. The service itself went very well with all the extras we had asked for and my mum had the send off that she had requested in her Sun Life pack. I would certainly recommend HJ Whalley to anyone who is looking for a no hassle and respectful funeral service for a loved one.

We were unfortunate enough to need an Undertaker last year for my dad. The insurance company suggested H J Whalley. It turns out that was a blessing in disguise. Everyone at H J Whalley were brilliant and the staff in the office were even better. They took so much stress away from us, nothing was ever too much trouble. If ever a company deserved a good review, they do.I hope everyone that reads this takes me on my word. At a time in life when you need reassurance, confirmation, guidance and understanding. I really cannot give enough Thanks for making one of the most difficult times of my life so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who is amazing at what she does. A professionalism that cannot be taught and she has it in abundance. Losing your mum is a heartbreaking thing for anyone to go through but Sarah did so much to put me at ease that all would run smoothly in these difficult times. A huge Thank You to Matthew too director on the day who couldnt do enough to make sure everything was as it should be on a difficult day. Thank You for making Rita's final journey a beautiful one.

I recently attended the Lowndes Street branch for a meeting with Sharon and wanted to say a big thankyou for her help and support through the pre-paid plan process. Although there were problems with the Wi-Fi and printing, which unfortunately Sharon felt the need to keep apologising for, business was concluded in a professional manner. Sarah and Claire made sure that all my wishes were fulfilled and were in contact with me frequently to make sure that all ran very smoothly leading up to the funeral.
