Highly recommend Chris, it took me ages to find a decent barber when I moved to the area, I tried all the “top” barbers but none were as good as Chris. I eventually found Chris almost 2 years ago and wouldn’t trust anyone else. Great guy and great barber, you’ll not regret it

I've been getting my hair cut by Chris for over a year now and visited his new barber studio in Ashington today. He has a nice setup and has done well.The haircut is always good. Conversations are always fine, and he puts the effort in and listens to what you want done, also offering suggestions on improvement/changes.Look for the building with the black facade, it's inside the tattoo studio in a private room.

Chris has been doing my hair for a few years now. When I found out he’d branched out on his own, it was a no brainier to follow him. The guy really knows his stuff and is very easy to chat with, making you feel like an old pal rather than a customer. Will definitely be continuing to use Chris!

Absolutely flawless as always. Every time is perfection. He talks you through your haircut and reassures you of what he is doing. This time I also brung my 12 year old son along and he is as fussy about his hair as anyone, but he has came away and said it’s amazing and he never wants anyone else to cut his hair again apart from Chris. You want a great hair and beard cut. Chris is your guy

Update: Third visit now and the service is incredible - had the fun of noise hair wax today - not as bad as you might imagine.Phenomenal beard experience from Chris. Worked wonders to shape and style my beard that had only ever had clipper treatment from me. It now looks fabulous and the other half is super impressed, and to quote ... you have cheek bones"I'm already looking forward to next time and if you have a beard

Chris is not only a skilled and professional barber but genuinely sound bloke. He came recommended to me by a friend and now everyone in my friend group use him.I've always switched barbers every couple of years or so because of issues with the service, my last barber for example did not take bookings and was the only person on shift, it was an hour wait before was seen.Since I've been going to Chris I've had no such issues. Easy to book in, friendly and professional atmosphere and you get exactly what you ask for. 10/10. Can't recommend enough.

Chris has got a cracking little studio in the old Piv building. Great barber who knows his stuff, excellent attention to detail, and good crack as well. Already booked in for my next appointment. Well worth a visit.

Chris is an absolutely brilliant barber with a keen eye for detail and takes his time to provide exceptional service. An all round great guy and very personable which makes each visit a great experience. The new studio looks great and has a good vibe. Highly recommend!

Had my hair cut off Chris for nearly 3 years now. Just been to the new studio - WOW - Gen would go anywhere now to get my hair kept fresh by him. Hugely reccomend. Top quality barber facility and Craic.
