Emergency call out over the weekend following 1/2 the power and lighting in the house switching off. Paul was professional and kept me up to date prior to his his arrival and resolved the issue quickly. Would happily recommend and use him again.

Had an electrical fault with all the house sockets at around midnight. Called around for an emergency electrician. None of them were willing to come out despite saying provide 24 hours services. Managed to contact Paul and he came out within the hour. He was extremely professional and arrived promptly and corrected the fault right away. He really helped us out of a difficult situation. He even went the extra mile and sort out another electrical problem not related to the call out, with no extra charge.I would highly recommend him and will definitely ask him again from now on for any electrical issues from now on.

Paul and Kate came to our home when we needed an electrician the most,all the electrics had tripped . They where quick and efficient and very professional They both took pride in there work.. I will recommend V and A Burgess toall our friends and Family in the future.. I know from experience they would do a good job and have every confidence in them.

I cannot speak highly enough of Paul and Kate who run this company. I contacted Paul at 6 am on a Saturday morning because all of the lights downstairs in my house weren’t working and had obviously tripped the fuse board. It wasn’t clear even whether it was the lighting or sockets that had plunged everything into darkness! Paul came round at 7 am on what was due to be his day off and set about doing tests to diagnose the issue. He was very thorough and when he’d identified the problem, he explained very clearly what the problem was and he needed to do. He returned a few hours later with Kate and together they worked really fast to rewire the cable to the light, taking up floorboards and carpet in the process, and getting it all in working order. They also left everything clean and tidy which I was very grateful for. Thoroughly professional and skilled, reliable (they arrived when they said they would!), friendly and good-humoured and a pleasure to do business with. They did a small repair for me but I’d trust them with much bigger jobs now like rewriting an entire house or commercial premises. With their standards, know they’d do high quality work, whatever the job. Very grateful to them for responding so positively to my emergency and on their day off too. Brilliant! Kathy

Fantastic service from Paul today. Completed a full replacement of my father in law’s kitchen light unit - less than 24hrs from the initial call to the job being completed. Excellent service, clean tidy work, very fair price and warranty included.

I had a problem with a funny smell happening with my dishwasher. Paul was able to offer advice to me over the phone and locate the problem quickly. Paul came around on an emergency call out after our electric supply was cut totally @8.30pm. Not the greatest time to lose power on a dark evening, but he put us at ease straightaway with his friendly and professional manner and quickly identified the problem which was potentially life threatening. Nothing to do with our house electrics but he immediately contacted NW Electricity who came a short time later to make our property safe as the problem was external. I would definitely use him again as his customer service was exemplary. He also contacted us the following day to enquire if we were ok. Highly recommended tradesperson
