Kent Cookery School
Attended my first course here yesterday which was the Knife Skills Course. Brilliant afternoon! Learnt how to use a steel to keep the knife sharp. Chopped a variety of vegetables using different methods and made a minestrone soup from it all.Then taught to butcher a whole chicken and then to fillet a flat fish and then a round fish. And you get to take it all home!Excellent tuition by James.Great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to my next course!

Had my third class there and it's been amazing as always. I did the stocks and sauces course, and left with 10 takeaway boxes of food made on the day. I've learned so much, I highly recommend. Thanks James and Autumn

Amazing! Had such a wonderful time at the couples cooking course. James was a great teacher and made us feel so relaxed. Autumn and all the team were lovely and really welcoming.Best lamb dish I’ve ever cooked and they made it feel so easy.100% recommended!

Had a great date night with Chef James and the team!! Really fun evening cooking in a relaxed kitchen atmosphere. Def gonna do one of the other courses available...but which one?

Fantastic evening. Learnt much about use of spices in Indian cooking. Very enjoyable and had excellent teacher. Staff really friendly and helpful. Surprised at how good the curry e cooked was.

A wonderful evening learning about vegan cookery. The chef is knowledgeable, patient, with a sense of humour. He made each person there so welcome and in a relaxed atmosphere that meant you could ask anything. Learned a lot, and enjoyed the food at the end. Amazed that I had actually made it! A wonderful experience, highly recommend it.

This was my first ever experience on a cookery course and I wasn't sure what to expect. However from the moment I arrived I knew I was in good hands, so well looked after by everyone. James clearly knows how to bake bread, his ability to teach a class of 12 people was amazing! I can't wait to get started on my journey on becoming a baker of bread!Thank you to both Jameses, Pippa & Autumn for a great day!

Thank you James, Autumn and Pippa for another wonderful day.The Weber Essential course was a perfect follow on from my initial basic course.James took us through the techniques, the food was amazing, who knew you could make a risotto and molten chocolate pots on a bbq, but the pork loin with bbq rub and salsa verde were the best.Would totally recommend to anyone who wants to do expand their bbq skills beyond sausages and burgers.Looking forward to the next course.Xxx
