Creative Calligraphy
I have attended Angela's calligraphy course through Cultural Spring. Angela is a very patient and enthusiastic tutor whoshares her love and passion for her work with her students. It has been a delight to pick up a calligraphy pen again after a lot of years and to loose yourself in pure delight throughout the session.

Creative Calligraphy
I asked Angela to transcribe an interpretation of the greeting 'Namaste' as a farewell card, on behalf of the class of a much-admired and loved yoga teacher. She agreed to do so at short notice, and suggested possible styles and layouts. The final card was exactly right and became as much a gift as a card. I would not hesitate to recommend Angela and her work.

Angela helped me make my vision of a wedding gift for my cousin come to life! She has so much enthusiasm for her work and it really came through in the finished piece. My partner and I attended one of her workshops a few months later and was such an enjoyable experience! Thank you Angela!

I contacted Angela early last year as I wanted a poem which had been written for my late husband on his rerirement, re-written in calligraphy form so that it could be framed.Angela was extremely helpful. Came to the house to talk everything through, made some suggestions of her own, showed me various samples etc, all to make the end results exactly as i had envisaged, which they were.Angela is a very personable and talented lady and I have no hesitation in recommending her and her work.Carol Brewster

Would like to say a HUGE thank you to Angela for her service and working with Aspinal of London as our master calligrapher working in store with us. The event was special for the build up for Valentine’s Day and we were pleased when we got the go ahead. Angela came equipped with valentines props and all colours which suited our brand needs. Angela was professional, friendly and even offered to help do other tasks as well as her expertise. Will look to do business again in future at our House of Fraser store. Bravo!

Creative Calligraphy
I attended one of Angela's workshops last year at the Customs House in South Shields. It was the first time I'd attempted calligraphy. It was such a nice, relaxing experience! I'm now enjoying another of Angela's courses at The Custom Space in South Shields in an attempt to improve my skills. I'm looking forward to, one day, being able to apply what I've learned to special birthday and Christmas cards etc, and who knows what else I could do if I get really good, lol! Thanks Angela, I'm looking forward to the rest of course.

Creative Calligraphy
I inherited my great-grandparents Family Bible from 1880 earlier this year. Sadly, the pages that recorded the births, marriages and deaths of their children and their grandchildren were badly damaged. As a commission, Angela did a great job of recreating those pages and the Family Bible has been restored. Now I am taking it on a tour of my cousins all of whom admire Angela’s wonderful work.

After arriving in the North East from the South East .I felt very lonely.After dabbling in calligraphy in the South ,I found Angela Reed on line and joined her course at Creative Calligraphy ..What an inspiration ,kind and helpful person she is. Angela has brought back my love of calligraphy.The meeting of a kind group of people at her course from someone who felt so isolated has made me feel good again .Thank you Angela .

Creative Calligraphy
Recently attended a fantastic Creative Calligraphy course delivered by Angela at the Customs House. This was my first ever formal calligraphy course so naturally I was a little nervous about being ‘bottom of the class’ however within seconds Angela made me feel at ease. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I picked up the techniques, thanks to Angela’s excellent guide sheets and demos. I was able to produce calligraphy I never expected to after only 1 session. Would definitely recommend no matter what level of expertise you are at currently and will be looking out for more of Angela’s courses in the future. Thank you!!!

Creative Calligraphy
I have been lucky enough to use Angela’s services at Creative Calligraphy twice (so far). The first was to arrange a treasure hunt of clues around a favoured hotel and the second was to help me propose to my now fiancé. Angela has been able to interpret my sometimes incoherent thoughts and put them onto paper - or card. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
