Have attended individual classes and also a corporate event here. Great fun, very informative and suitable for all levels. Interesting selection of wine provided - outside of the traditional varieties you'll get some nice surprises along the way. Heidi makes everyone feel welcome and relaxed - it's not stuffy or overly academic, but you'll always walk away feeling more knowledgeable. I would highly recommend!

I would highly recommended anyone who would like to learn about wine to take classes at North London Wine School. Heidi is a great teacher and communicator. For her students she delivers over and above: emails with recommendations, lecture notes, wine and travel advises.My boyfriend and I have completed Introduction to Wine (8 weeks) course, and absolutely loved it. We are coming back in September to complete WSET Level 2 courses.

Would thoroughly recommend this! Heidi was brilliant - we all learnt so much about wine and had such a good time doing so! Heidi was lovely and imparted all her knowledge in such a relaxed, informative way. Used the day as our wedding wine tasting and invited both sets of parents, but it could be done as a couple, with mates or with family.

My wife and I recently finished an eight-week introductory course on wines, which we enjoyed immensely. We made the somewhat ridiculous mistake of driving there on the first evening but soon learnt that to fully enjoy the evening one must be able to drink freely and enjoy being slightly merry as a result of drinking six glasses of wine and then discussing them.Beth is very knowledgeable about her subject and evidently so passionate about it that she never misses an opportunity to ‘research’ her subject as much as possible!Highly recommended.

I have attended the 8 week course on world wines with Heidi. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it as Heidi is very prepared on the subject and lots of fun! We tasted over 50 wines, discussing everything wine related. I am looking forward to other courses with her at the North London Wine School!

Top notch!We took both the WSET 2 class as well as the French Wines course with North London Wine School and found both to be above and beyond anything we had expected.Beth is an incredibly knowledgable and exciting teacher to have. You won't find a better professor to teach you the intricacies of wine and the wine industry!We would highly recommend!

Have just done a Saturday wine tasting with champagne and lunch at the North London Wine School. I'm not a wine aficionado but have always wanted to know more about different types of wine, and the differences between them. Which I certainly got from this day's wine tasting. We were a small group that particular day, so there was a nice friendly atmosphere. Beth, the tutor, was excellent - informative, friendly, fluent, enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable about all aspects of wine. She has many years of practical experience in the industry, and has visited lots of the wine producing places around the world that we talked about, so could answer absolutely any question anyone had during the day. We tasted some 6 white wines and 7 reds, of various types and countries, so that's pretty good going! I definitely enjoyed the day, and would recommend it for anyone who wants to know more about wine, in a friendly convivial atmosphere with an excellent tutor.

I just finished the 8 week wine tasting course. For a complete novice it was a great way to get started on an education in wine. In addition to being incredibly educational about the whole wine-making and wine-drinking processes, it was just plain old fun! Heidi was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining, would definitely recommend!

In the last eight weeks I've tasted over 50 wines - reds, whites, roses; still and sparkling; dry and not-so-dry; expensive and low price; grapes I've heard of and some I haven't from all over the world. With Heidi's expert guidance I've learned to appreciate nuances of smell and taste that I've never thought about before, and discovered some fabulous wines that I'll definitely drink again. I feel more confident in assessing a wine and having an opinion on it.Heidi's style is very relaxed and fun, but she also really knows her wine and shares her knowledge very effectively.The added bonus for me was meeting some great people on the course, and some of us have already decided that we'll be meeting up to continue our wine journey. I'll also be looking out for more courses from Heidi.Go along - I guarantee you'll enjoy it!

Beth from North London Wine School was a fantastic teacher for WSET Level 1 and Level 2. Very knowledgeable and made the courses engaging and non-stuffy. I would definitely recommend trying one of the courses. Looking forward to doing my WSET Level 3 at some point in the future.
