Exspensive charging 80.00 to pick up a American fridge freezer from only 0.9 mile away , so didn't end up getting the fridge freezer

If you want a cheap quote and unprofessional service then these are your guys. We were pulled in by a cheap quote and should have known better. When it transpired that we had a few more boxes than the quote had allowed for the 'lads' offered to sort it cash in hand rather than go through the office, we thought this was rather dubious so went through the office and another £20 was added to our bill.On arrival at the storage unit it turned out that our unit was on the 2nd floor with a lift to get there. The owners said this is not normally an issue with most firms but we were told this would be another £100. Ultimately they did not work out any cheaper than other firms and felt like they were chancing their arm to cut corners and make a bit extra wherever they could. We would strongly advise people to go to a more reputable firm for their house move.

Book at weeks notice got the job done. The van was punctual and the crew moved a flats worth of gear at a good pace. I would definatly use this business again.

Took ex the mick payed them then charged extra ningty pound above quote and still they left stuff in my previous property..proper charlitin company broke furniture cowboy operation keep away from this company horredouse.

used this firm for a housemove, they were excellent. arrived on time and got the job done quickly and carefully. friendly movers who respected our property. we particularly liked being offered a fixed rate (rather than XXX for XXX hours - meaning we could budget easily for the work). company owner was very responsive to messages. would definitely recommend.

I was given a quote so decided use them they came on time , language not good and when it came to pay them they had added £30 on what I was told.Never recommend or use them again .They got a 2 for arriving on time or 0 I would put.Poor

I used s and s removals to move a big heavy wooden barrel from my employers old house to his new house, the company sent two removal men ( both polite and on time ) though they had been given the wrong equipment and also a vehicle with a broken tail lift, the owner (Scott) then turned up with the right trolley and while moving the barrel he dropped it onto my hand resulting in me losing part of my thumb, to add insult to injury he then refused to drive me to hospital, luckily the two staff took it upon themselves to offer me a lift, after an operation and countless visits to hospital I decided to claim for my injury, when my solicitor contacted s and s removals he received a hand written reply ( which I have a copy) completely denying any responsibility for my injury and even stated they had no insurance anyway!!Great staff - disgraceful company!
