Geoffrey was really lovely to deal with and did a great job fixing my sewing box and tiny side table. Very prompt and efficient too.

Couldn't be happier. Geoffrey took this old LP cabinet (walnut colouring) that I'd inherited and has transformed it into the retro little cabinet (rosewood colouring to fit with other furniture). Super-pleased with everything... nice guy and obviously great at what he does!

Absolutely delighted with our restored Georgian secretaire bookcase. After many years of neglect it now has pride of place. Geoffrey brought his expertise to bear not only in restoring the piece so that it can be used properly and to a beautiful hue, but also in the details such as replacing the beading. A pleasure to work with from start to finish, Geoffrey made the process clear and kept us informed every step of the way. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

This late Victorian Child's chair was purchased by my Great Grandfather around 1885 for his children and after use by 4 generations of infants, and more than one DIY repair, it was in a pretty sorry state. Geoffrey has done a wonderful restoration, transforming it back into a handsome piece of furniture. The photos don't do it justice - apart from looking rather shabby before, it was falling apart and was missing the rail. Now it is sturdy again, a beautiful family treasure ready for the onslaught of the first of the next generation, our granddaughter, 20 months.

Geoffrey restored our wooden dining table after it had been damaged in a water leak. We were delighted with the restored table, it looks absolutely stunning and the beauty of the wood has been significantly enhanced. It is clear that Geoffrey has taken an inordinate amount of care and time in restoring it.We were also very impressed by how he communicated with us as customers, he managed expectations as to when he could take the table (he’s highly in demand), was clear about how long he would have it and when he brought it back to us, he took time to explain how best to look after it in the future and what cleaning products we should and shouldn’t use on it.As heartbreaking as it was to see the table damaged after the leak, it has been wonderful to see it restored even beyond its former glory so we’re really grateful to Geoffrey.

Geoffrey restored an antique bureau which came from my late Mothers flat. He did a fantastic job not just re-waxing and dealing with woodworm but also repairing damaged woodwork, replacing the leather writing insert and correcting poor repairs made in the past.Geoffrey is a charming man and I would have no hesitation recommending his work.

Geoffrey restored my great grandparents rocking chair from a badly patched, creaking and broken mess that most people would just stick on a bond fire to as-good-as-new just with the beauty of its age. The attention to details and craftsmanship is second to none and I believe this wonderful old chair can last another 100 years. It’s perfectly balanced, rocks silently and it’s a joy to use. We tasked Geoffrey with renovating an old Chinese travelling trunk/coffer which had suffered decades of neglect and was so dirty that the original designs on it in gold were hardly visible. Geoffrey did a wonderful job restoring it to virtually its original glory with which we were delighted. In addition, he gave us some really useful tips on how to look after it in future. All in all, we were entirely satisfied with the result which exceeded our expectations and really glad that we chose Geoffrey for the job. Highly recommended.
