Cineworld Cinema Plymouth

Lovely clean and comfortable seating in the IMAX screening room. Leather seats that recline slightly and have good sized cup holders.Clean floors, well lit and well spaced aisles.The staff were smiley and helpful. I didn't like the idea of buying my tickets on the machines so we went to the food tills and we bought our tickets there.IMAX screen was bigger than I expected and the surround sound was great too.

Third biggest Screen in the UK. Incredible. Came here to watch Oppenheimer on IMAX. Incredible experience. I recommend being in the back 5-6 rows in the middle for the iMax screening which should put you in with the centre of the gigantic screen. Good choice of snacks, screens and great that there’s a Starbucks in the venue too.As someone who has been to Vue, Plymouth for years, this is better in my opinion.

Wowzers! Saw Mission Impossible in the 4DX screen....feel slightly battered but it was brilliant!!! No snoozing during this experience, be ready for much rocking about, water jets, strobe light effects, bullet noises swooshing past your ears and a weird tickly thing round your ankles! Highly recommend but forget trying to eat your popcorn!

Staff is always really nice and friendly. I sometimes go alone and get popcorn and a drink and they always come with me to open the doors to help me get to my screen. The experience has always been really positive every time I went there. I think food portions are really good as well!

Cineworld is a good value cinema right in the city centre that often plays older movies which are always fun to see on the big screen. The lobby is awesome and has a real cool feel to it with the lighting and displays. The seats aren’t as good as other venues but are still comfortable enough for a long movie.

We don't go to the cinema very often and decided to see Napoleon while we were in Plymouth. Our first time at a cineworld it had an almost magical entrance dark with strategic lighting. The theater was quite small and almost empty, the adjustable seats were comfortable and the surround sound not too loud. Altogether an enjoyable experience

First time that we've visited here.We went as they have an IMAX screen - perfect for watching Oppenheimer" as this was filmed in this format.The cinema is part of The Barcode entertainment complex. There are nice views from the coffee shop.There is a car park beneath the cinema for 400 years. NB this does not take cash. You pay by card at a paystation when you leave.The cinema itself has blue & red neon lighting in the foyer. You take escalators up to the screens / refreshments desk & on site "Starbucks."If you live in Plymouth you can buy an "Unlimited" membership for the price of 2 cinema tickets a month. You can see as many films as you like plus it gives you discounts on drinks etc.The seats in the IMAX screen were very comfy. They recline but move with you as you do.Suggest you arrive early as there were long queues for refreshments when we visited."

I've never been to an IMAX cinema before but coming here to watch Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was an amazing experience. Tremendous colour, sound, and comfort.

Fantastic cinema. I became a member and for £10.99 a month you can watch as many standard 2D films as you like.You can pay a small fee to upgrade to IMAX and 4dx which is 100% worth it. The 4dx seats move in time with the movie and offer other realistic effects like water, wind and smell. Really brings the viewing experience to life!
