Visited this cozy shop earlier today. Wasn't really in the market for yarn, but desperately needed buttons for a baby cardi. The lady, Donna, was very helpful and we had a long chat discovering that we have several things (besides yarn) in common. Would highly recommend, whatever your skill. There are social events too, so you won't leave without making a new friend!

Great selection of yarns, from good quality DK acrylic to hand dyed skeins. Donna is very friendly and helpful, she runs a number of social groups at the shop.Plus there are vintage buttons, DMC embroidery threads, hooks, needles and patterns.

Love visiting this shop always given a warm welcome. Not only can you buy craft kits, yarn, Haberdashery you can sit and do crafts.The shop also runs workshops and hosts pop up shops. Which is great to learn new skills.

Lovely place to visit. Shop keeper is polite and friendly with customers.Prices on products are reasonable. Lovely selection of yarn and other sewing/knitting/crotcheting accessories.Perfect place for people who like to hang out, do some knitting/crotcheting and have a cup of tea and cakes.Would visit the shop again.

A great little knitting and craft shop.I needed a 5mm straight knitting needle to do a three-needle-bind off. Brown Paper Loves has vintage wood, metal and plastic, knitting needles, so I found the needle I needed for £1.They also stock some fixed circular needles and interchangeable needles, and crochet needles and knitting notions, as well as some knitting books and many beautiful-looking vintage buttons. The shop is beautifully laid out and looks very inviting.I had a good look around, they stock embroidery threads and the sweetest little cross stitch embroidery kits, I was tempted!Definitely a fab little knitting shop in Berkshire, so if you are into knitting and crochet or perhaps want to start then it is well worth a visit here.
