Dry, bland chow mein. No msg, which is flavour! Just overall very underwhelming which is a shame because outside and in, the shop is immaculate and I’ve been waiting to try for 2 years. Cash Only.

The food used to be great from here when I noticed it re opened thought we would give it a go, the chow mein was dry as if they dropped it in the wok and forgot about it and the prawns and chicken had a funny smell and didn’t taste right at all , my partner was sick for the next two days, overpriced and average. Miss the old chef

I went myself a few months ago. After looking through the extensive menu I decided to ordered a satay chicken with noodles which for a main and side was strangely expensive as my bill came to £16 pound odd . I decided not to challenge as I was hopeful the Chinese would be good, I waited under 10 minutes till I received it (slightly worrying). How wrong was I...... when I got home I got slimy pale chicken in gooey grey sauce, stupidly spicy. I am not a fussy person but for the first time I decided to have beans on toast instead. How disappointing ......

Before Canton Cuisine closed for 2 and a half years due to the pandemic, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced; however upon reopening this summer it’s sadly got steadily worse and worse. Our order has gone from £17 odd to upwards of £22 for the exact same meal and portion size, just a distinct decrease in taste. I’m not sure whether it’s the new chef and/or they are using cheaper ingredients, but either way; very, very disappointing - The owner is lovely, but hopefully she is reading some of these reviews and understands that rising living costs means she can’t have it both ways by charging higher prices and using lower quality ingredients, customers will just stop using her !

Very cold waiting area, small portions, sweet n sour chicken, spring rolls.

No other place compares to their amazing fried rice and salt and papper chips!Price is very reasonable for the food you get. Fantastic quality and I never go anywhere else! :)

Ordered a chicken curry and veg curry but when we opened the veg curry it had prawns, chicken and meat in it, so never again, will go elsewhere, and we are local.
