P&J Live

Came here for the OffShore Europe conference. It was ok. The food wasn't great, and was rather expensive (14.40 for a cold burger and chips). There was nowhere near enough seating for everyone to eat at and despite different lids on the bins (for different recycling etc) it all went into the same binbag.

Fantastic venue. V spacious, easy to get to, security staff super helpful and friendly. Best of all - loads of lavlavs.

I was there today for an event as an exhibitor. The venue is great and spacious. The ops staff are spot on and helpful but security do know what day it is. To be honest it was quite laughable. However it's the price for food and drink that lets it down as a venue....

Great venue. Plenty bars. Easy to find your way around. Security/ticket checks very quick and simple. Really look forward to more events here.

Went to the P&J live for Aberdeen ComicCon 2023. Comic con was amazing and the building is beautiful. This is all completely let down by the fact that the P&J are happy to charge £3.70 for a 500ml bottle of Coke zero or £12 for a VERY small pizza because they KNOW nothing else is nearby. The venue is practically in the middle of nowhere with no local shops and they know they can rip people off because their is nothing else nearby. Nobody is forced to pay these prices but it shows a disgusting level of respect for the people who have already paid a ticket fee to enter your venue. Parking is also expensive (£14.50 for 5 hours).

Was at the comic con NE Aberdeen, was amazing. Massive venue, helpful staff, canteen, car park, good for disabled. Hilton hotel is right next door and the airport is 5 min away

It's a good venue, well organised and has friendly, helpful staff. The prices for food and especially drinks are outrageous and the venue is clearly taking full advantage to fleece its captive market. I don't even think there is the option to take in your own food and a soft drink as all bags are searched before you are allowed in. I would think twice or three times before going back here.

This was maybe the best expo venue I've ever been to! We had an amazing time as a company, Nauticus Robotics, having a booth here. Price points are very reasonable!

Great venue for seeing your favourite bands and artists! Staff can be very rude though and not helpful at all! I needed to pee before door were open of a concert and asked if I could go was told yes but a male security guard told me he had to come with me instead of standing outside the woman bathroom he came in to the woman’s bathroom with me and stood there and told me to hurry as he was waiting! I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated with this security man stood inside the bathrooms!The venue it’s self is great and the arena is really good

Went in to see Elton John on his final tour, fantastic show once in a lifetime experience and the acoustics were excellent you could even hear the tambourine which is rare. The venue itself was clean, easy to navigate and plenty natural light the staff were also very friendly and professional, there's more concession stands than people realise since most of them were queuing at the stands at the front of the building but if you went round the corner the poor staff were just standing there with no customers. Had a burger and a drink they were very nice there is a vegan burger on the menu although I didn't try it also the chips aren't included in the price although the burgers are quite big so you might not manage adding chips.The only major problem with P&J Live is the parking they have this weird pay on exit thing, basically instead of getting a ticket when you enter and paying when you leave (like everywhere else) you instead have to put your registration into the machine it'll say no record of this vehicle" and then I'm guessing they're trusting you to be honest or something because you then have to put what time you parked into the machine. There's a guy handing out tickets with a web address to pay online but you have to sign up for a subscription service or something
