Top class shop, great service and great staff - 1300 mile round trip - very much worth the effort - I will be back!

Had an excellent experience at the shop, just popped in for a few bits and both the guys in there were helpful and friendly.

I was recommended to use Carl Russell Co by a family member for any repair or servicing. Carl took an 1890’s London self opening sidelock and undertook a full strip and clean, fabrication, engraving and blueing of two new pins as well as other internal repairs. The gun was test fired, cleaned and I was then updated a second time by email stating the gun was ready for collection. Brilliant communication even during the start of the season, fabulous work and extremely reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again and fully recommend their services. The shop is worth a visit on its own for clothing, cartridges, hats, boots, stockings and a decent selection of modern and vintage guns. All the staff are knowledgable and helpful. Thank you for looking after me and I look forward to returning soon.

I didn’t know this place existed but got recommended by a friend. I only need some cartridges so popped in. Very friendly man in the gun shop and helpful women in the clothing section, will definitely be back.

Excellent service from a really friendly and knowledgeable shop, visited one afternoon and spent a couple of hours discussing and specing the gun I was after finishing in an order, not rushed at all and very patient conversation answering all my stupid questions.
