Little Lavender Birth School - Hypnobirthing

My partner and I have just finished a Hypnobirthing course with Ammarah. As this is our first baby I really wanted to settle my nerves and learn as much about birth as possible (control freak!). The course was brilliant. We both feel so knowledgeable and confident about the birth process now and our fears have been completely replaced with excitement, so much so we have opted to have our baby at home. I would definitely recommend this to any pregnant couple whether it be your first or 10th baby.

After having a traumatic Labour with my first child I was determined to feel more in control with my second and wanted to try hypnobirthing after hearing great things from friends. Giving birth through COVID and lockdown was daunting and difficult but doing this course really helped me feel in control of the situation and I actually enjoyed my labour! I can’t believe I’m saying this but I really did, and my husband felt a lot more involved and able to participate. The course was really informative and the material I received was great. Ammarah was so patient with me and her soothing voice put me to sleep by the end of the zoom sessions, I felt really relaxed :)I highly recommend a hypnobirthing course with Ammarah!

Really enjoyed my time with Ammarah, and her teachings. I wish every woman knew the knowledge and techniques shared, birth really would be a more positive experience for us all. Thank you for your help and care.

Ammarah is a lovely, kind, understanding instructor who definitely has a great amount of knowledge. It was an amazing course and I would highly recommend to anyone that's pregnant. It really helps to build confidence and puts your mind and body at ease during a time that can be filled with uncertainty.It definitely helped me to feel empowered and stay calm during labour this time around. Without this course it could've easily become a stressful situation. So thank you so much Ammarah. The massage techniques are a big bonus too, they definitely help! All the best x

I would highly recommend this birth school. I did the hypnobirthing course for my second pregnancy and it was amazing. It gave me all the tools and confidence I needed to have such a positive experience. Even though I was hoping for a natural birth but ended up with a c section - the lovely Ammaarah (instructor) was at hand to support me and guide me through what could have been a very stressful time, but with her help turned into a wonderful time. Not only have the breathing techniques and positive affirmations helped me through birthing my baby, but also are still helping me postpartum with staying in my bubble of love and manoeuvring through my 4th trimester.
