St Helens motorcycle training

Such a positive experience from CBT right through to passing my practical test. Mike is fantastic at assessing where you are up to and ensuring that each minute on the bike is of value. I felt so amazingly prepared for my tests and this is down to the knowledge that Mike has. Thoroughly recommend.

Fabulous trainer. Mike let me store my own bike securely on site while on lessons, which was ace. He provided tailored guidance and encouraged me to ride within my limits while instilling confidence in my riding. Ended up passing Mod 1 and 2 first time with only 1 riding fault between them both. I’d heavily recommend learning with Mike if you want to learn quickly and properly. Solid 10/10 mentor.

Great instructor, has a lot of time for his pupils, a lot of empathy and he is great at assessing your riding and giving the feedback to you straight. He is great not only at building your knowledge, but also your confidence. Now preparing to do the MOD2 with Mike, which is going great so far!

Had my CBT here on the 6th Nov 23, very good experience even given the wet and windy weather. There were 2 of us being trained on the day by Barry, he's a very nice guy. The whole day was exactly like I expected. The little red Honda was having an off day, probably Monday morning blues and the weather, but it was manageable. I will be in touch when circumstances are favorable for my DAS licence.

Well where to start ? What a guy Mike is, words will not describe my experience or yours as it is what is said an experience" he is one of the best out there and i have others to compare him too and after 4 hours with another school Mike had taught me more in 30 minuets. Ive passed both MOD1 and MOD2 first time with Mike and you should too as his instruction is clear and straight to the point. If you're wrong he will tell you and if you're right he will praise you there is constant and clear communication and feedback from Mike and the results show for themselves because of it. He is not only a credit to the school but also to himself and his students. Worth every single penny as his prices are fair and competitive and i can only wish him luck for the future. If you actually want to learn to ride and not just be taken out and directed left and right then this is the school for you. 5 Stars Mike keep up the good work !!!!"

Spot on from start to finish.From the get-go, Mike had impeccable communication and considered my individual circumstances. He helped me pass the A license after 8 years on A2. I felt my riding didn't require the long and expensive courses other schools were asking for and I had a limited timeframe to pass. Mike was very accommodating - he assessed my riding, helped book test dates that were best for me, and ensured I was informed throughout. I passed both modules first time without any faults.Great stuff, thanks.

All I can say is outstanding Company passed my mod 1 today not fair I wait any longer to write a review if you are looking for somewhere to learn or progress from small to big bike here is the place. When originally looking around to upgrade from my A2 is was a massive pain as everywhere wanted to sell me courses Mike with no fuss evaluated where I was at with my riding and we have gone from there looking forward to getting my mod 2 sorted with Mike keep up the great work

Mike at St Helens Motorcycle is an outstanding motorcycle trainer. I went through my Mod-1 and Mod-2 test training with him and passed it on the first attempt.Mike initially assessed my bike riding skills and then scheduled a training plan accordingly.His style of instruction is very thorough but easy to understand and adapt. Mike will constantly address and repeat the bike manoeuvres you need until it’s correct and you’re comfortable to perform on the test day.Mike enhanced my motorcycle riding skills in very few lessons and both modules for advance access course were easily passed.I fully recommend St Helens motorcycle training.

I originally trained with another school, then moved to Mikes as the original place didn’t cover the test dates for MOD2. Mikes training is miles and miles above the first lessons I originally had elsewhere, I felt 100% prepared going into the test and passed first time with Mike
