Ilfracombe Harbour
Wow soo beautiful. A must visit. Lots of little shops and cafes. Very picturesque. Lots of steep hills to give your calves a good workout. Take a coastal walk up elephant mountain (don't attempt if you struggle with steep inclines) its breathtaking at the top. Well worth it though.

Really pretty harbour hosting the Damien Horst statue. Views are stunning and there is plenty to do around the harbour with an aquarium, chapel you can visit and a working RNLI station. Although we didn’t use it the parking seemed to be popular for the town. Plenty of shops and facilities nearby as you’d expect, as well as various boat tours.

Very pretty. Good car park right next to the harbour, land train for £5 from here every 15 minutes takes you for a ride around the area. Busy when I visited last week early June. Shops nearby.

Beautiful harbor with a stunning landscape. The shops and restaurants around the harbor provide plenty of good food and merchandise. Plenty to do while not being too tourist driven, this Ilfracombe is a must see! Parking is hard to find but check the top and bottom sections of the high street.

Went to Ilfracombe Harbour. Saw Verity and enjoyed a walk around. Went to The Smugglers for lunch. Enjoyed a very lovely salmon and king prawn dish. I would recommend going to Ilfracombe Harbour to anyone. There were three of us with different disabilities and everyone was very accommodating.

Pretty area. We took a ride on the Ditto train for a 24 minute city tour. It started near the statue and took a full circle around the city center It offered beautiful views of the sea and the city.

Absolutely love coming to this place, usually only for Rolys fudge but such a beautiful little harbour/townThis time visiting we took the scenic walk along the top, this didn't fail to please. We also took a look at St Nicholas church on top of the hill right next to Verity who looked as stunning as ever.A little disappointed that all the shops seemed to be shutting up shop before 4 o'clock I guess it's seasonal but this is half term week.Look forward to visiting again next year!

Love this harbour. The tide coming in creates glorious high waves and thrilling spray gets thrown up. Wonderful to watch. Kids love it.The statue is an interesting view although not sure about the message... Verity is the name of a woman shaped like Barbie with the conical breasts of a Sci Fi character. Not sure about the truth there.Further up, is the mosaic for Jonathan Edwards' world record long jump. The visual for each footstep gives a real sense of what an incredible achievement it is. The distance is vast!! Love it.
