Went along to see Scotland beat Austria by a huge 166 run margin, brilliantly hosted by Heriots Cricket club. Huge well done to George Munsey who broke the record for the highest score by a Scotland batter in T20 Internationals.

Was raining all day, but we still had so much fun with the kids. My wife was a dolphin, and I was the the Grumpy Whale.U gotta love Scottish weather.

The area hosts the sports facilities of a private school. Quite nice and well kept. The school itself is in downtown, next to the castle.

Well maintained, paths in good order, accessible with prams, wheelchairs, etc. Hot drinks & tray bakes available from the old cricket pavilion cafe (it has a thrift shop upstairs)

Watching Scottish Cup Final between Forfarshire and Ayr. Good pitch and outfield. Good facilities. Chairs put out round the boundary.

I always find that there is a good access with plenty of available parking Herriot rugby club and their facilities are of the best the only down side from my visit today was my team Ayr RFC were defeated
