“Goose” is a Visla x Fox Red LabIn the first hour we started to learn to- got to bed (in a crate she didn’t previously love) to the point she went in of her own accord- turn to heel- walk to heel- recall to play- feeding tips- toy and treat tips- learnt to think more about our future dog not current puppyI can’t recommend enough, Rose is fun to work with and I’m buzzing from the results.24/09/2023 Since this first review we have done beginner and novice courses, we have learnt so much, had great fun and goose learnt to behave and respond alongside other dogs. Rose continues to be exceptional.

Gunner and I really enjoyed the puppy life skills course! Rose is an amazing teacher and from week one of Gunner being a very lazy Labrador to our last week where he has become more enthusiastic about training and learning new skills.We are both looking forward to start progressing with the beginners gun dog training in the future! I asked Rose for her help with my labrador on the recommendation of a friend. My girl has several issues. Pulling on the lead, jumping up, not listening to me, front door manners when greeting guests and separation anxiety.One visit from Rose and she walks beautifully, sits quietly when people come in, no more jumping up and I am seeing results with her separation anxiety! She is not cured but I can now leave her for 20 minutes. The work is ongoing but I have Rose's support with any issues or questions.I can not recommend her highly enough! I had been to two different trainers previously for several weeks with little improvement. One session with Rose and walking my dog is an absolute pleasure. I'm getting compliments on our heel work!Rose is magic!

I would highly recommend Rose! I have just completed the Life Skills course with my Labrador puppy and I’m delighted with the progress we have made. We recently had the privilege of working with Rose, a remarkable dog trainer, over an 8-week course with additional 1-on-1 sessions. We recently completed ‘Life Skills Training’ with our puppy. We found Rose to be an excellent trainer, giving valuable behavioural insights alongside practical, easy to follow instructions. The small class size was particularly helpful and provided lots of opportunities for personalised feedback. We also undertook a one to one training session to help our puppy with his impulse control, which was incredibly useful. All in all, the most effective training we’ve undertaken with any of our dogs.

We contacted Rose about our two-year-old Cockapoo, who had started showing signs of aggression and guarding, which we wanted to get on top of.Rose was so easy to talk to from the beginning. We didn't ever feel judged or compromised, or that anything was too much trouble. She was very thorough in collecting information before our session, and we felt prepared for the appointment when it arrived.Our in-person session was fantastic; so well structured, dynamic, engaging and all of the instructions were clear to follow and execute. We went at our own pace and all of our questions were answered without making us feel that what we wanted to achieve was impossible.Rose encouraged us to think about our own process and approach while training our dog, so that we felt we had ownership and confidence in what we were doing.All of our issues have been resolved, in a positive and engaging way. Our dog was responsive throughout and although we needed to be consistent and determined with the training, we are so pleased that we sought help when we did.We would absolutely recommend Companion Dog Solutions, and would have no hesitation in returning again if we ever needed to.

Rose has been an absolute godsend stepping in to help me crack my 12week puppy from nipping. Being a newfypoo, she’s big and those nips hurt! Rose came to my home for a 1:1, giving me practical and logical tips. Nothing bizarre but exactly what I needed. A recipe to future proofing my pup’s behaviour. I’ve signed up and am looking forward to her weekly puppy behaviour course.

We completed Rose's puppy life skills course and it was so helpful with training our young lab. Rose is so knowledgable and friendly and gives such clear instruction which I found so helpful as a first time dog owner. As well as the fantastic life skills course Rose offers 1-1 sessions. We found her advice around loose lead walking was particularly helpful and we saw a marked improvement in our pup's walking after just one 30 minute 1-1 session with Rose!
