My two girls and I have enjoyed making things at Rachel’s pottery class a few times. We all love it! Rachel is calm and patient and the atmosphere is relaxing and fun. We have made lots of brilliant things and we will visit again in future I’m sure! I think the value for money is excellent! You get expert tutoring, as well as lovely items to take away. We love it! We spent an afternoon with Rachel in her beautiful studio and had a great time. It was part of a hen do and the 9 of us were made to feel so welcome and had a lot of fun. It's a great group activity, and we were delighted with what we each achieved by the end of the session - starting as novices, but with Rachel's guidance all ending up with something lovely at the end, that will make a great keepsake after the wedding. The studio and surroundings are gorgeous, and Rachel's brownies are the best we've ever tasted!

Went with my daughter for a day out and wanted to do something different, we both throughly loved the experience and were made to feel welcomed by Rachel. Rachel took us in her studio which is surrounded by fantastic artwork and then she guided and motivated us to create our own pottery. I can say for my lack of creativity and experience I was well impressed with my finished piece. Thank you Rachel for the experience ❤️ Below you will see the green vase I made

My kids and I really enjoyed to make pots , flowerpots, and plates with Rachel. She was very patient and helped kids to creat their work from their own ideas. We definitely will go back to have other lessons with her in some points.

I've had the first few pottery sessions that I have no doubt will result in many more. The creative process is such an enjoyable and mindful experience, either individually, with my children or in a group with friends, and Rachel is so knowledgeable and accommodating. All in all it's good for the soul and I'm totally amazed at what you can produce ad a beginner with a bit of expert guidance. Would thoroughly recommend!

An absolutely beautiful pottery studio with views out to green hills and trees, feels so calming and relaxing. Rachel is an excellent tutor, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I went with a group of ladies and had so much fun, but I'd really like to go back with my husband and son's, I think they would love it too.

I went to 2 of Rachel's pottery coffee mornings with a group of friends. We were all beginners, and I hadn't done any pottery since primary school.It was great fun and I can't believe how well my pots have turned out.Rachel is an excellent teacher and managed to give us all the confidence to make fabulous pots that we are proud of. She showed us how to make our items, helped us through the process and had lots of completed pots around the room to use for inspiration.I would definitely recommend Rachel's workshops, and am already thinking of going back for more.

What a fantastic afternoon with the team at Rachel Collyer Ceramics! Rachel welcomed us into her workshop and provided expert guidance to us throughout the whole session. As a group we all made different items and Rachel was patient as we turned our hand to pottery for the first time. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a creative break away from your general day-to-day.

I contacted Rachel to book a coffee morning with my NWR group, Rachel was fantastic, there were nine of us and she calmly helped us all to make at least two items, coffee and cake were served as well. A couple of weeks later several of us returned to glaze our pots and again Rachel was able to accommodate all our different ideas. We had a brilliant time. Thank you.

I recently took my 8 year old daughter for a pottery lesson with Rachel. It was thoroughly enjoyable, Rachel was very friendly, accommodating and made us feel she had lots of time for us. The workshop is a lovely set up with lots of examples for inspiration. We learned some great tips for clay work and my daughter went away after the second visit with a textured mug, saucer and berry bowl. She was thrilled with them. We will definitely return for another lesson!
