If you're thinking about soundproofing, please do it. From day one, this company is professional.Catherine was always on point and responsive, helping me make a good choice for my situation and answering all my inane questions. You can tell she is a very busy lady, but she always has time for customers.The crew of guys who did the installation are friendly, informative, and VERY good at what they do. They can work around anything you throw at them. Cables, wires, Internet, awkward spaces, etc. Their skills are impressive to say the least. It took only a few hours to have the alcoves in my living room completed. The finished walls are smooth, all molding back in place, and very clean. They even helped to put a guitar hanger back for me. Above and beyond expectation.As for the soundproofing itself, so far so good. My neighbours sounded like they were IN our house, pounding, yelling, etc. Now? Practically nothing! I can hear foot falls occasionally, but they sound miles away! No voices at all! It's heaven. I was getting to a point with my neighbours that I had a decision to make as to whether I was going to move home or take a risk on soundproofing. The walls in my house are so thin that I could literally hear a full telephone conversation or know what they were watching each evening as the TV was so loud. I did a little research and found Cheshire Soundproofing. Catherine was so helpful right from the start, she answered ALL my question and I assure you there were many, I sent her the sizes of the walls and she then promptly quoted and a date for installation was arranged.The guys that turned up on the day were great! Very friendly, easy to talk to and more than willing to answer any further questions I had along the way. The also made sure they cleaned up after themselves.I was a little unsure when I was booking as I had no idea what the outcome would be but I must say, it is the best thing I ever did and I wish I had done it years ago! I believe I have around 70-80% noise reduction, I can still hear next door but only if they are really shouting and my TV is on mute. The general everyday noise has pretty much gone altogether. I could not be happier. I can now also stop tip-toeing around my own home.A massive thank you to all at Cheshire Soundproofing for their amazing product and great staff, you all made it all very easy for me from start to finish.

Cheshire Soundproofing were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.We have recently moved into a terraced house and discovered during lockdown that the alcove walls next to our living room chimney stack were an issue, with sound travelling freely through the wall from our neighbours. We contacted Cheshire Soundproofing for a quote and they were really quick to get back to us and arrange the works. Catherine was on hand for our numerous questions and the whole company was really professional and easy to deal with throughout.On the day of the works the guys were really friendly and did a fantastic job, we are really happy with the works. We can now enjoy our living room with out the distracting noise!Would fully recommend this company for any soundproofing needs, we will probably use them again for another wall in the future.

Cheshire Sound Proofing have just finished some sound proofing work for a property I manage. I have to say that Catherine was fantastic from start to finish. She was very informative, answered questions promptly and was very professional. Upon completion, pictures of all stages of the process were supplied promptly. I would highly recommend.

After moving house we discovered that the party wall in our 3-year-old's bedroom was letting in a lot of noise from next door. Luckily Cheshire Soundproofing came to our rescue! We asked them to fix the sound problem and also plaster and skim the room. I had a lot of questions and Catherine took the time to answer them all and offer really great advice. The lads who did the installation were super friendly and professional, again taking the time to answer any questions. They also left no mess at all after the job was finished. The quality of the work is outstanding, the sound issue has been completely sorted and, most importantly, my daughter has a good nights sleep!We will certainly be asking them back to sort a similar problem with our living room.Thank you!

Excellent service throughout the process. Catherine was very polite and responsive. The fitting team did an excellent job installing the soundproofing. The company was very responsive to questions and the surveyor explained exactly what could and could not be achieved by soundproofing my bedroom floor. The workmen did an excellent job and were very tidy. The overhead 'drum effect' of the neighbouring semi-detached house's children sounding like elephants stampeding overhead has completely gone. I am very satisfied and would recommend Cheshire Soundproofing to anyone with noisy neighbours.

Really professional company with the breakdown of options and quotes of each option. Catherine was very responsive to any queries I had before installation and was impressed with her service.The installation team didn’t waste any time getting started and was very polite. They put covers down to protect your carpet and clean up after themselves not leaving any of their waste behind.Did a great job skimming the walls too.Would recommend getting the flooring filled in to.Noticed a difference on day one with the sound proofing so would recommend to anyone to use this company.

We were looking for a professional company to help us with the noise issue and contacted Cheshire Soundproofing after reading their reviews. We had a quick response from Catherine in regards to having works done and she was brilliant throughout. Honestly don’t know where to start or even thank this company enough. From start to finish they were a pleasure to have in our home. They took badly fitted soundproofing boards off the walls in 2 bedrooms and living room in our semi detached house. We decided to go for the highest spec insulation available due to severity of the noise, which caused us a lot of stress and made our life miserable for a long time. Everything was completed in 4 days and the lads barely left any mess. They were brilliant, very friendly, answered all our questions and went extra mile for us. We can finally start to enjoy our home. Best money that we have spent, the works are worth every penny. Highly recommend this company.
