I have just bought a golf at very cheap price. The car was actually better in person than how it looked on Autotrader. The people at the Wokingham Car Centre were polite and really helpful. You get for what you pay for, good cheap runarounds. Definitely recommend them. Thank you.

I should take my solicitor with me to this place they are con artist shut this place down I should get a free car charging well over prices for cars that dont have mot some are fault with cars they don't be honest to the customers be honest with people you got nothing better to do instead of coning us customers I saw a audi well pricey if it's a used second hand car has to be decent price not over £2500 for a faulty. You people dont get smart we are customers end of the day what kind of service you provide to us customers. ! Totally wrong

The trading practices of this company is appalling, not worth one star. They did not just sell a car where the engine was overheating but it also had problems starting.On top of that for a refund they claimed a £200 'admin fee', it doesn't cost that amount for an admin fee but it isn't legal. We had a solicitor to state the law to them. They were also very rude.Regardless of a refund, practices are poor. Selling knowingly faulty goods is not legal. And not giving a refund on an item which is found to be faulty within a year isn't either so there is no point saying we should be grateful. In addition how hard it was to get that full refund.We will not be buying another car from them and it has resulted in having to hire a car for longer which costs more money.

Bought a Vauxhall Corsa in January. By the time I got the car home it was clear there was an engine overheating problem so I took the car back the following day. They had a look and I was told it looked like they were going to have to do a lot of work at their expense. After having the car for over a week I was able to pick the car up and found that there was now a knocking noise coming from underneath. So I took the car to my usual servicing mechanics and within an hour of dropping the car off was told that I needed to return it as it was a death trap. I had to sign a waiver for my usual garage to return the car to me as they said they wouldn't unless I confirmed they weren't liable for letting me drive it away. I contacted Wokingham car centre and was told that they were wrong but if I wanted to return it, I would need to wait for the registration document to come back to me so the car ownership could be changed back. This took a week and then I returned the car. When I got there, the owner/manager, I am not sure which, wasn't around so I was told they couldn't help. Eventually, one of the staff there got him on the phone and he told me that the refund would be less £200 because I'd had the car a month. I managed to get him to agree to cover the cost of the tyre I had put on the car so got a refund less £150. Even when I pointed out that even though I had bought the car a month previous, they had been working on the car for over a week and that due to the issues with the car I had actually done less than 100 miles in it, he refused to budge so I took the hit. The reason I have given two stars is because of the young man who got the owner/manager on the phone. Once I'd finished pulling my hair out on the phone the young man promised me the refund would be with me on the Tuesday and to be fair to him, it was there like he said. In my opinion you should look elsewhere when buying a car. Based on my experience since, there are other places with similar prices where the cars are safe to drive and the whole experience is a far happier one.***In response to the reply***I have not confused you with any other business. Absolutely disgusting, my girlfriend brought a car off of them for £1000 only to discover when we got the document through that it had 20 previous owners (instead of the 4 that they said)The car has a cracked oil sump pan that they GLUED as a cheap fix without telling us and had a slow puncture on the rear tyre. We have had to pay £375 pounds for this to be fixed, and £50 for the tyre, the bit that annoys me the most is that they refused to flex on the price whilst in full knowledge of the faults. Absolute con - artists.Please be aware that they often change their name when their reviews reach enough negative scores hence the ltd.Recently changed name to Wokingham car centreStay away.

Purchased a car from Wokingham Car Centre last month and it's been a brilliant first car from first impressions. I passed my test the day before a bank holiday weekend and the owners, out of their own way came down late in the evening to complete paper work in order for me to take the car away that evening! Was a very fast process and I cannot commend the owner enough for coming down and completing the purchase. Again thank you for your help! I wish you and your business a prosperous future!

I do not usually bother leaving reviews but in this case it was just not on. Purchased a Volkswagen Golf from these chaps for a reasonable price. Since leaving their place they have refused to help with anything or offer any advice. I phoned them asking if they could tell me when the cam belt was last changed, they said they'd get back in contact with the owner of the car and I have heard nothing. The chap seems friendly however the cars he sells are riddled with problems that he will carefully try and hide from you. I was told my car had a 30-day warranty, however when I phoned up to try and get my problems resolved I was told the 30-day warranty only covered problems with the engine and gearbox, this was not made clear at all.My advice- thoroughly check everything through before buying, or avoid this place at all!Maybe after this review I'll receive the help I need!

First of all, the large selection of cars is really amazing, you can easily find your price range here! The seller was really nice, and he always told us what kind of issue we should know when we ask about one of the cars. I only wanted spent around 500-750 pounds, and he not hided what should we know about this kind of cars (believe me, lots of seller even try to lie about what MOT say). So, all in all, I highly recommend this car centre, as I’m totally satisfied with the service and condition of the car for that price!

Very impressed with large selection of cars. Was spoilt for choice. My budget was 1500 to 2000 but was very impressed and settled on a 2008 golf. Sales staff were very patient and helpful. Highly recommend. Well done lads will definitely be back soon.

Very happy with buying from here. Its been 2 months and my lovely £1000 bargain i bought from these guys is going strong. The main sales guy was very pleasant i knew i wasnt buying a top end luxury car either so i expected some ''small problems'' but luckily enough all is well. In famous word ''ill be back'' for my next car.
