Have to say the service is very good here. Really clean place and lot of options on the menu.First time I ordered and got the spicy fish and chips. The fish was very average it basically was just covered in red batter and tasted bland. For 11 pound I expect a bit more. I would go again but just order the traditional fish next time. I will update the rating if it is better.

Food. I have to say Wibsey Mother Hubbard is the best one I have been to out of two others fish fried perfectly, the chips are not under or over cooked in fresh oil.Service. To say the staff were under pressure with the amount of orders that were coming through they were pleasant and polite, apologised for the wait.

Order a fish and chips the chips were like they had been refried and overcooked to the point they had become hard.The fish looked big but when I ate it, it was covered in thick batter and the was hardly any fish.No where near worth the price I paid.When the place newly opened the food was great. But it was a great let down today. Won't be going again!

Girls behind the counter were useless, ordered 2 portions of fish and chips and somehow we had 4 portions of chips on the bill? Chips had a funny taste. Blonde girl with fake eyelashes was always on her phone and not bothered about customers. Wouldn’t go back

My new favourite chip shop in the Wibsey area. A good variety of different fish options, good service, chips they way I like them nutty and moist, generous portions, they take card payments, good opening hours, lots of other options on the menu, delivery. Competition take note or you will lose out! Well MH done and good luck.

Visited a couple of weeks ago and the fish was fresh, batter good and chips were spot on. This Friday just gone, unfortunately wasn't the case.Luke warm, fish was tough and chewy, batter over cooked and chips a handful. It's a bad idea to leave it to kids to run, especially on a Friday.

Ordered fish and chips twice under new ownership. Shop looks great but their fish is not great. It was bland with over greasy batter and the second time the fish was undercooked and had a raw fishy smell. Previous owners always took great care with the fish. Emailed feedback about the fish on the same day on their contact form, no one bothered to reply.

I have just had the most delicious piece of fish. Its the best fish I've had in a long time. Lots of chips all lovely cooked and plenty of batter too. The owner was really pleasant and friendly. We'll worth a visit x

I have been attending regularly to this shop since it opened. My experience has been five stars and would recommend others to try out the amazing food on offer. It is more than just a fish and chip shop. They offer a gear variety on the menu and the customer service is second to none. I have been served by Courtney and Maddison, who have been wonderful and the establishment should be grateful to have such front of house staff, dealing with the customers.
