What an amazing trip myself and friends had with Barcley - Exploring coves and deserted beaches plenty to see and then bringing back Scallops and a lobster to cook up on the shore - a great day. Kit was amazing - even purchased a new Cressi mask. Thanks again

What a day I rode across Dartmoor to visit Joe PKs shop. Number 1 for spear fishing south coast UK. Worth the distance wherever you're coming from. New gun, plume float, and all the accessories your ever need. Had the gun modified on the spot. Re rigged and powered for my waters. Very reasonable prices and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys.As you have the space, why not set up a cosy corner. A sofa, coffee machine, fridge with cold cans, water. And a TV playing PKs YT playlist. Be nice to be able to relax for 5 mins before thinking about what I want and getting in the vibe. Plus if your customers are many at the same time they can chill while waiting to be cared for.Just managed to cram it all in my bag and get back safely.Thanks again looking forward to my next visit and ride over.

From start to finish, Start Point Spearfishing have been fantastic! Jen helped me with getting the right size for my body shape, answered all my questions, sent me a how to" video for getting into and out of my wetsuit and was just really supportive. I went out for my first snorkel in the wetsuit in our Hebridean waters on Saturday and it is a total game changer. Thank you for all your help and support

Top recommendation! Barclay organised a wonderful day out spearfishing for myself and 3 friends. He has fantastic knowledge of the local area and was a great teacher to us novice divers. His approach is very professional and safety conscious as well as a lot of fun. The dive equipment at start point is top quality. A wonderful day out ending with a beach barbecue of our catch - lobster crab sea bass and scallops. Could not have been bettered. Thank you Barclay.

Hi Joe and barcley ,just catching up , had a bad start to the season due to the weather but catching up now. The carbon Finns are absolutely brilliant! I can stay out longer without getting cramps (as I am 63 now !) Depending on the vis both the 75and 90 guns have proved to be great , the mac coltellrie killer knife hasn't got a bit of rust on it , worth paying a little bit more !Hope you are both getting in ? I needed help on band size for my fairly old speargun and spoke to Jen. Jen was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent advice. I ordered online and the bands were promptly delivered and the right size. I purchased a Start Point wetsuit some three years ago which is warm, comfortable and still in good working order. Great shop!
