Honestly the food is out of this world!, I don't think ill go any other take away ever again, the food keeps changing on a daily basis so its like a surprise every time you go their and you know regardless of what it is, its 10/10,if don't like surprises follow them on Instagram you'll know exactly what's on the menu on that day, if you have not been their before your missing out big time! the guy that owns it is so friendly and welcoming.

Charles has by far the best food for miles and miles. I visit regularly from Rayleigh and its worth the drive every single time!

This place popped up in my recommendations and I’m certainly glad it did! We popped in on a Sunday night and although they didn’t have the full menu available, all the dishes we went for were excellent. The boneless BBQ chicken was amazing, as was the brisket. Both were cooked to perfection and superbly seasoned. The Mac & Cheese was rich and substantial and went well with their homemade coleslaw. The food here is very reasonably priced and the portion sizes are more than generous. If I lived any closer to the place, I’d be the size of a house! Highly recommended

Where do I start. Unreal food every single time. I have been here so many times and he has new items on a forever changing menu. He has so much to choose from. The JOLLOF RICE AND STICKY BARBECUE BEEF BRISKET is something you should go for. The Parmesan cheese tenders and mac&cheese is another item that is a must try. Very Hard to drive past this shop without stopping.

One of my favourite takeaways in Southend on sea .great service atmosphere.always new dishes on the Manu .I drove all the way from south London to get this food .

Alright hear me now! Loud and clear people I was out walking on London road looking for somewhere to eat when I remembered one of my friends telling me about this elite takeaway spot so I had to check it out. Deeply flavoured soul food that outreaches to the very depths of your spirit and enlightens it with pure joy and seasoning. A truly unique and underrated experience and possibly overlooked by their location and size of the takeaway. The only downside is that unless you are looking for it I believe it is extremely easy to completely walk by multiple times and not even realise you had done so. The food is soo good I wanted to gate-keep it because I don’t want to the food to run out the next time that I go. I got the royal box which allows me to pick four items for £24.50.Loaded Mac and cheeseI normally don’t order Mac and cheese when I got out but I thought it would a good idea to do something different and boy was I right. The mac and cheese was so creamy, it was filled with sausage, prawns and pepperoni. It was generously covered cheesy goodness, the only downside that there wasn’t more. 8.5/10BBQ pulled ribsThe meat tender and succulent and sauced to the max, I have had some good pulled bbq ribs in my time but these were close to the best and paired with the loaded Mac and cheese was transcendent. The flavour combination of both was an explosive symphony of flavour that I didn’t want to end. 9/10Salt and pepper wingsWhen I asked for the wings I wasn’t expecting the healthy portions that I got as I got 10 wings that fit into one corner of the box. These were crispy and the batter had a depth of flavour to it and so did the chicken itself. Every bite was a step in the intoxicatingly irresistible journey in the soul food experience. 8.8/10BrisketThe brisket was simple but affective you could see that it was seasoned but I’m not sure if the seasoning reached the entirety of the meat. However the meat itself was delicate, the pure flavour of it was definitely intriguing as I thoroughly enjoyed it but it definitely worked best with the Mac and cheese. 8.2/10This soul food was a carnival of flavours to my taste buds never have I been so blown away by the quality and time taken into making such a magnificent feast. If you go and visit there might be new dishes to try besides the ones I have reviewed but I say that they don’t miss so you are bound to enjoy whatever you get. Without doubt one of our favourite takeaways in Essex, the chef is so welcoming and passionate about his dishes.The food is superb and always looks as good as it tastes.Highly recommend!
