Enjoy Discovering Wine

I really enjoyed my Level 1 Course at Inn the Park on November 19th. It was very well put together, and the supporting materials are excellent. A lot of the content was bringing long forgotten knowledge back to the fore, very successfully, as well as helpful new information. Helen made it a lively day which helped a lot and the setting is very good too, if a little cold on that particular day. It provided a very good springboard for moving onwards and upwards through the Levels. Thanks very much.

The problem with studying wine, and enjoying studying wine, is that the more you learn the more you realise just how little you know. So it was with studying at EDW. A genuinely fascinating and enjoyable experience that, whilst quite intense, saw me clutching a L3 Merit at the end. My passion for wine whetted with an expanded horizon to explore. Erica and her team enthused, encouraged and educated in equal measure. Seriously, who could ask for more?

Erica and her team have been amazing throughout my wine learning journey. Knowledgeable, with many years of teaching experience and very approachable. Can communicate effectively in any level of knowledge be it a novice or experienced in a fun and engaging manner. I still visit their specialised alumni event tastings which is a great way to keep on top of my wine knowledge! I would wholeheartedly recommend Enjoy Discovering Wine to anyone who wishes to get a little (or a lot ) of insight into the world of wine.

Erica and Jim were instrumental in my success on the daunting Diploma D3 exam. Their detailed and highly knowledgeable course along with their motivation and support throughout were invaluable. Hugely beneficial are the graded mock theory exams with specific feedback and details on how to successfully answer questions in the WSET style. The icing on the cake is the personal encouragement you receive throughout. My only regret is not finding Enjoy Discovering Wine earlier in my Diploma journey. Highly recommended!

I have been to a few of their tastings and i have done the WSET Level 2+3. The courses are thoroughly researched and very well taught in a way that makes the whole subject a lot less bewildering. A lot of work goes into their preparation and so if you want to know more about all aspects of wine, then i would thoroughly recommend it. The same goes for the tastings. Different areas of the world , or just a single wine type or geographical influences are looked at. A very good selection of surprising wines are tasted and i would say they are more fun if you have a bit of prior knowledge of tastings.

Erica and her team ran an excellent course backed up by two superb masterclasses - it was very useful for my Level 4 Diploma studies. Just right combination of learning and fun!

Erica's teaching style really works for me. The Matchfit theory revision course for WSET Diploma D3 Wines of the World was simply brilliant. Worth every penny, I can't recommend it highly enough. The fact that we researched and did questions on regions that came up in the exam was uber helpful as it really helped consolidate learning. The approach of taking level 3 knowledge and adding Diploma detail was really useful. The course also gives great advice also on how to answer different styles of questions, this proved to be invaluable exam prep. Also the mixture of group work and individual feedback was perfect. I'm sitting here feeling proud that I made it to the end of the Diploma, what a roller coaster journey with a pandemic in the middle! I genuinely feel that without doing the Matchfit revision course with Erica and Jim I probably wouldn't be sitting here now with a Diploma pass and planning to go to graduation next April.
