Puzzle Bored

What a gem! Found this place by accident and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend half an hour. Great drink and food, very friendly staff and a wonderful idea to puzzle while nattering. Highly recommended. Amazing place.

I love the concept as someone who always wanted a quiet cafe to go to. As someone with ADHD I often need body doubling and being at a cafe to get work done. However, when it comes to resting and relaxing, I never know what to do. Parallel relaxation in a quiet space with amazing drinks and cakes downstairs is incredible. I also love that you can also get work done on your laptop upstairs.Also, the concept of local artists' work as puzzles is incredible and I cannot wait to see what else will come from here ☺️

An absolutely brilliant concept. Lovely cafe with excellent coffee and the most delicious muffins. Upstairs I was blown away with the sensory quiet room. Children and adults with all kinds of disabilities are going to feel so safe and relaxed.Well done Mark and Denise for thinking about this idea and I wish you both all the very best in the coming days and for the future, you really deserve it.

We went in for the coffee and stayed for the puzzles. A very cozy and relaxing place to have a coffee. We started doing a puzzle and completely forgot about our drinks. People there were very friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our visit.

Never seen a puzzle cafe before - I think its a great idea. We spent a couple of hours here, whole family had a lovely time doing a puzzle together. Nice coffee, and we picked up a beautiful puzzle to do at home. Wishing the business every success.

Lovely lovely cafe so friendly and welcoming. Great range of drinks with a delicious range of sweet and savoury food. The concept is fantastic, so good to sit with friends and do puzzles together or just on your own for some mindfulness time. A real sense of local and community, love it!

Recently paid a visit to Brighton in order to visit a friend. We were looking for things to do that weren't necessarily visiting a bar and stumbled upon Puzzle Bored. I think it might be my new favourite place; unfortunately I live 149 miles away so I may have to wait a little before I visit again, although my friend who does live in Brighton is a Puzzle Bored convert and will visit for me. We very much loved that we could drink tea and coffee whilst getting all competitive with the 100 piece jigsaw puzzles trying to get onto the leader board in order to secure a spot on the end of month prize draw. I think over the course of the two days we managed to complete all of the relevant jigsaws. Another amazing surprise is that this café is very ND friendly and there is MUCH less noise than most places. No blaring music, no overpowering noisy coffee machines. Perfect! I believe there is a completely silent space upstairs too. Family friendly, vegan cake options and a warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Had a lovely time at their Saturday morning Kids session. There were crafts, colouring a table cloth, colouring books, loads of different puzzles up in their quiet room. The kids got a drink & some biscuits included. The staff were so friendly & accommodating plus the coffee was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!!
