Great team to deal with, had major problems with original instaler of my morso squirel, contacted Ewan very helpful sent team out to inspect fire on arranged date and time, problem was identified and repaired, have no problem in recomending this company with the service they provide

Terrible service. Had them come out to quote for some work, they had some information to gather and said they would get back to me and they never did. I called and emailed many, MANY times and spoke to various staff who assured me that I'd be called back with a response which never happened. Terrible service, incompetent staff and would not recommend them.

I would echo the comment before. We had our stove fitted a while ago and the followup customer service since we have had a few issues with it (all very easily solvable) has been sadly non-existent. The stove centre consistently promise to phone us back and never once have. I really don't like posting these things but feel like I have had no choice in this situation and am so disappointed as I thought a wee family business like this, which relies on word of mouth to survive, would strive to have great customer care. I would not recommend this company.

Great service, staff and fire really happy

The true measure of a good company is how they deal with problems. Stirling Stove recently installed a Contura 820T in my sunroom with a new flue. The room has a high, odd angled ceiling and the external roof was an awkward shape leading into a glass roof. A difficult installation. We are also on a very exposed hillside and get battered by wind and rain. There were issues with getting the flue right for the conditions but Ewen and the team worked consistently to do a really neat job and to resolve the issues that arose and we are delighted with the result. They also fitted a new flue to our other stove and corrected an earlier bad installation on that stove by another company. On each occasion they have been here they have been polite, worked hard and tidied up after themselves. Really nice people to deal with too. Highly recommend Stirling Stove as a very professional company.

Just a note to say the service from start to finish has been faultless. Plenty of choice on stoves and surrounds and the installation carried out last week by your two lads was first class and clean and tidy. Delighted with the finished work and overall look.

We have just had our new stove installed in our extention this week by Stirling Stove Centre, and we are very pleased with all the help and assistance we received from Ewan and his team. From the moment we went to the showroom we were made to feel comfortable and were advised on our choice of stove based upon the space it was going to be heating. We required some careful design work with the flue to conform with building constraints but Ewan and his two installation fitters, Mick and Andy, overcame all issues and we are now very pleased with our end results. Ewan even came back out after to coach us on using the stove and taking care of it.I think it worth mentioning that we did waver on using SSC after reading a negative review they received, but I spoke with them regarding it and they convinced me that they had done all they could in a situation out of their control. I am glad we gave them the oppertunity to supply and fit our stove. They earned our respect, and deserve this review. If you are looking for a stove company, we can highly recomend Stirling Stove Centre.

Showroom staff were very knowledgeable on products, and after a home visit, where they ensured that the output of the stove we had selected would be suitable and surveyed our fireplace and chimney for the installation, after discussions on fittings and finishes we set a date for the install.Installers turned up on time, came prepared with protection for furniture and flooring and at all stages of the work engaged with us during the install ensuring we understood what they were doing and what the next stage of the work would be.Overall a good experience and a great install.
