The Golden Dragon

This used to be our favourite Chinese in Bath. Must be under new ownership as the food is over priced, over cooked and inedible. Not a single piece of egg in the egg fried rice and full of hard balls of rice. Won't be ordering from here again. Extremely disappointing!

Chow mein very oily and tasteless, sweet and sour chicken balls dry and tasteless. ribs okay and duck average. large portion sizes

we have been having takeaways from you for many a year but after last night never again, you have raised your charges up in the last couple of weeks, i dont mind paying a bit extra but what normally costs us £23.00 is now costing £35.00 how in the hell can you justify that. and here is the price difference.before and afterroast pork curry £4.20 .... £4.90eggfried rice £2.30 ..... £3.50boiled rice £2.00 ...... £3.30chicken chow mein £5.10 ..... £6.40chicken nuggets & chips £3.40 ..... £6.00curry sauce £1.30 ..... £2.00crispy chilli chicken £5.10 ...... £6.40no delivery charge forfor spending over £20.00 ...... £2.00total cost£23.40 ...... £34.70utterly disgraceful. will not be ordering from you ever again

Very disappointing never again this place was shut for a long time should have stayed shut

Every dish was full of sauce, making everything overly wet and slimy. The crispy chicken was not crispy at all as the chicken was completely soaked in sauce. Vegetables were like vegetable soup. Only the beef curry was justifiably served in soup form but the beef was cut in tiny pieces. The hot and sour soup was too hot but not sour enough.

Had a takeaway from here for the second time .. this time we were very disappointed.. stone cold when we got back ( still piping hot last time) curry sauce tasted of flour and Inedable. On the whole 2 stars is a very generous rating from.us .. will not be returning even if it was just an off day ... not wasting any more money here for a 3 visit. Shame

Golden Dragon’s meals are so tasty again! The meat is now cooked to perfection! I especially love the beef in black bean sauce. Very good service and tasty food! At good prices! Best Chinese in Bath!!!!

An actual dragon plated in gold would have been less chewey, and more flavoursome than my tofu.

Disgusting cold food and very rude staff. Special chow Mein very watery and taste less. Chicken balls like leather. Chips very cold and like cardboard. Definitely will Never go back to the Golden Dragon worse £35 spent. Wasn't even worth half a star. Staff so abusive/rude on the phone. Their own words the customer is Never right" then they hang up on you.."

Rather inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Dishes supposed to be dry were completely soaked in sauces and didn’t give the best appearance. Shocking texture for the lemon sauce crispy chicken (it was not crispy). They were in no way quality Chinese food.
