I crewed for Pete Stirling of PSA Prime Marine on a delivery from Hamble Point Marine to St Katharine Dock in central London. It goes without saying that the shipping in the English Channel Traffic Separation Scheme and in the Thames estuary was remarkable, that navigating the Thames Barrier was interesting and that being in a boat in the shadow of Tower Bridge was amazing.......anyway, what I really want to comment on is my experience of crewing for Pete. He was an amazing skipper. We arrived safely and with no stress. He explained everything as we were going along and I really benefitted from his experience. The owner is a much more experienced sailor than I am - and I could tell that Pete was tailoring his coaching, advice and commentary to suit. I'm confident that the owner would say pretty much the same as me but would have picked up different things.

To be under Peter’s command was a privilege and an important life lesson for me in leadership. His patience, resilience and calm have helped me lead my own care group through Covid and beyond with safety!

I have been extremely pleased with the service I received from Pete and his team. They completed a whole range of agreed tasks whilst I was away and advised me of future issues to consider. My knowledge of my own boat has improved considerably since working with them, which in turn gives me greater confidence on the water. I thoroughly recommend them, especially to new boat owners.

As the owner of the Najad 490 'Lahaina' it was a privilege to have someone as experienced as Pete Stirling on board and watch him work. His attention to detail and quality control was second to none and I would not use any other company than PSA Prime Marine to maintain my yacht or deliver it from port to port.I have also crossed the Atlantic with Pete and I've never seen someone take as much care and attention over someone else's property and deal with any issues with such diligence.
