I have come back to piano as an adult after learning for a few years as a teenager and Claire has made this fairly daunting experience really fun. She lets me dictate what songs we learn which is great and I already feel i have learnt loads in just three months. She is always encouraging and is very patient. I would highly recommend her to anyone keen to learn the piano.

Claire is a talented, friendly, and perceptive piano teacher. I’ve been going to her classes for more than a year now, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. She’s a fun-loving and creative person (as I found out when we were transcribing some pop songs). She teaches both kids and adults and is versed in a range of genres - classical, jazz, blues, pop, whatever you or your child are interested in. I cannot recommend Claire enough!

Claire’s piano lessons are prepared and given with much care and attention to detail.Our son started to learn piano with Claire when he was three years old using the Suzuki method. Since the very beginning the lessons have been planned to stimulate his curiosity and love for music, including feedback to us parents on how to best support him at home.This musical journey together is very special to us and Claire is a key part of it. Claire is a fantastic piano teacher. She's super friendly and approachable and her lessons are dynamic and engaging.Claire's approach ensures consistency and progress each week and you always leave the lesson a better Pianist than when you arrived.Having not played for some 16 years I am very impressed with the progress made so far. Claire is a wonderful and creative teacher and I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with her! Each of the lessons are personalised and prepared really well to what I'd like to learn which makes them engaging and really fun. Since starting lessons with Claire, I've learnt parts of A Thousand Miles, Californiacation and now I'm going for the whole of Brown Eyed Girl which is great. She also gives good tips for you to take away and practice at home.Looking forward to more lessons!

“I have already had piano and singing lessons before and I am pretty confident with understanding music theory.The past couple of years I had a break from having piano and singing lessons due poor health and family circumstances in my life. Sadly, last November 2019, my father tragically passed away from prostate cancer. This has caused so much pain and suffering and I love and miss my father dreadfully. Claire is really amazing, she's great at teaching. I've only just had one lesson with her so far but she's really patient and talented. I can't wait to have many many more lessons with her!
