Duck Pond

This is the remaining section of the original medieval castle moat now called Castle Pond or Duck Pond. The castle was one of the earliest in England & dated back to around 1050, sadly it was completely destroyed during the English civil war, so only this rectangular part of the moat remains.The view down towards the gorgeous Gothic Georgian house is one of the most iconic views in Hereford.
