Only popped in for coffees and cakes. These are stunning so many on offer it is difficult to make a choice. Good range of drinks available.Building is presented sympathetically, and plenty of seating in a range of different rooms

Lovely place with delicious food right on the main street! Probably one of the best breakfasts I had in a cafe - their egg sourdough with beans and mushroom was made to perfection - great taste and generous portion! Smoothies and juices are great too! We also stayed overnight and the room was well-decorated, spacious and bright - only wish they had AC or had given us earplugs since we had to keep the windows open to flush the heat out but the seagulls were loud in the morning.

The setting is nice and the food was good but some of the staff came across as overly rushed and a little rude.It was a busy day and we really appreciated being quickly seated. When we sat down we noticed coffee stains and footprints on our table (perhaps someone stood on it to change a light fitting). We asked to have it cleaned and the response from the (head?) waitress was The tables are cleaned after every use". She then stood there to see if we'd change our minds. When we pointed to the coffee stain

So happy to have stopped here for a late brunch. The service was phenomenal, and the cafe serves a delicious mocha and a wide range of vegetarian friendly dishes. Everything we ordered was top notch, and we loved how dog-friendly this place was!

White House is a small hotel but we came here for lunch at the cafe. It was a quick bistro with amazing food. This cafe is kids friendly and they have high chairs available. We ordered 2 mains for 2 of us and it was more than sufficient. Food was served hot and fresh which is what we exactly needed on a cold and wet day in Rye.We would be back for more!

Came to Whitehouse whilst on vacation. President wasn’t in but this cafe is fantastic. We grabbed some breaky and it was just awesome. Reasonably priced for a lot of food and massive drinks. Plenty of flavour and out in really good time. Not a huge amount of parking and busy on a weekend but if you can get in this place is worth it. All in all would highly recommend!

Had brunch at this lovely hotel, by pure chance, as the place we'd wanted to go had no water. But a very happy accident as it's superb. It's so good we went back the next day too. The have everything right. Our doggy was allowed, service is warm, friendly and very efficient. Lovely ambience too. Plus food may seem pricey, but it's superb, and will fill you up! We tried the breakfast plate, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the buttermilk pancakes. All are fabulous! Definitely one to pop into if you're in Rye.

Came here on a recommendation from friends who had been to Rye recently. Beautiful old building, pleasant, attentive staff who were easy to talk to. The food was incredible. The coffee could do with a little work, but we were impressed enough to return the next morning. Bilusy but accommodating, and very cosy. Lovely business.

We were on a weekend away, 5 of us fitted in on a busy Sunday. Each of our brunch orders had a small amendment to the Menu details & nothing was too much trouble. We were served by the excellent Grace, who made our wishes seem seamless! Totally delicious & the best selection of anywhere we have been. We have eaten brunch together all over the UK!
