Rectory Cottage

Love this little place, 1st time here and iblove it...its so pretty and quiet. Inside the cottage is beautiful with old and modern furnishings

Stayed here for a week in June. It is an old character cottage, the downside being the bathroom being downstairs and steep stairs that may not be suitable for young children or those with mobility issues although my wife and I, not exactly spring chickens, managed OK. It is fitted out and furnished to a very high standard, with WiFi and Sky TV to help keep you occupied if you're not out visiting this lovely area. With off street parking and a good local pub within walking distance I can happily recommend this cottage for those visiting this area.

A lovely cosy character cottage in such a peaceful location. Huge, comfortable bed in the main bedroom. Pretty court yard with space for 2 cars. Friendly chickens to greet you most mornings who amazingly don't wander through the gates. Ideal local dog walks through fields to the canal , you can walk for miles. 15 mins drive to Ellesmere & walk around the Mere. Local pub & shop also in walking distance. Big thank you to Jo (owner) who was more than happy to move her car to accommodate a visit from our daughter in law & baby. Thank you too for our welcome package & biscuits for pooch. If you want to escape the rat race, this stay certainly ticks those boxes.
