The Market Place

Shocking, had us travel for 3 hours for viewings only to say because we were 10 mins late (they claim 15 mins), despite calling and warning them 2 hours prior they refused to show us more than a single property.Let it be quite clear, these are amateur time wasters , we all know that not all estate agents are bad, well these are. Truly shocking.P.S. My partner for health reasons finds traveling a great ordeal so we beg any prospective seller or landlord to place your property in more professional hands. As a buyer or renter deserves some decorome of respect.

Not normally one for complaints and reviews but I have to make it know to what my experience was like with the market place, me and my partner are in process of trying to find just a nice place to live, we fell across a property being managed by the market place and we requested a viewing. Everything went smoothly there was presence when we shown up to the property but its what happened after that’s makes this place so unprofessional is ridiculous.Me and my partner expressed our interest and everything and made it clear that this was the property for us. (property viewed on 14/03/2023) after speaking with the agent (who told us to apply) we came home straight away filled out our application and sent it off, within minutes we had the estate agent ring us back to tell us the property was given away on (Friday 10/03/2023) so when I addressed this in an email to why we was even able to enter and view the property we was told that the landlord requested for viewing to still go on even though they knew this property was going, I was then told in a reply email from the market place that they have to what the landlord is requesting(which is understandable obviously) but this has shown me that the staff at this company do NOT care about their tenants and only care about the landlords. As they should of refused to allow other people to view this property knowing it was already sett for someone else.I highly do not recommend trying to find a property through this agency as it’s very unprofessional so I would save yourself stress because another agency will have what your looking for!

Absolutely shocking company, we arranged for a viewing on a rental this morning, we sat outside the property waiting only for no one to turn up. I decided to call the office, only to be told that the property had gone last week. It would of been polite to let us know so that we didnt have to take time off work for no reason at all. Would highly NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I was recommended my flat 4years ago by Nathan and it was the best move I have ever made have always found the staff extremely helpfuland very recently had problems within the building where I had to move out for a while whilst emergency work was done.In this time, Nathan has been a star, keeping in touch and explaining everything, also so supportive and took all worries away from me.I would recommend the Market Place to anyone looking for accommodation

Extremely rude people with no customer service skills. Arranged a date and time to hand back our keys to our flat, had a confirmation letter and email through confirming the time and no one showed up. After ringing the office numerous times a member of staff answered very rudely saying “what do you want?” and proceeded to tell us it’s not their problem (despite confirming the time a few days prior) and to post the keys through the office. We then dropped off the keys at the office. We later got another rude phone call accusing us of not dropping off the keys for them to later realise they’d misplaced them in the office. Still no apology. We then received our bond back a month after our move out date as they “hadn’t gotten round to it”. Poor service, rude people, would not recommend.

Had issues for over a YEAR!. My issues probably would have been sorted by a private landlord... Lancashire lettings fixed any issues I had within 2-3 weeks. These do NOTHING . I do not recommend. Gutted I left my old house for this awful place! They say they will sort it and don't. Only issue they sorted is when we had water pouring through the ceiling. Which broke our upstairs light which has still not been fixed... UPDATE! Some Issues somewhat sorted. Had workers F-ing and complaining about coming here and then didn't fix the issue and also ripped the carpet. And have now been told for our faulty hob to USE A LIGHTER instead of them fixing it! PLEASE DO NOT USE THE MARKET PLACE!

Great company that has gone above and beyond for me and my family. I can’t thank them enough. We had a great experience from viewing the property to signing in the main office. All staff very welcoming and professional. Thank you

Do NOT recommend at ALL. Pointless, timewasting company who think it’s ok to offer a viewing to then ‘give the property away’ so somebody else. Me and my partner are in desperate need of a property and their unprofessional and timewasting manner was utterly disgusting. WOULD NOT USE. TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE LET DOWN.
