Nothing but good vibes in this pub. Met by a gentleman at the entrance who quickly found us a suitable table. The interior has a really warm atmosphere - muted lighting, worn wood furniture, and a non-rowdy customer base. The table service was efficient, you even order drinks from your seat.We had a number of starters including the scotch egg and the brie which were both delicious. I then had the tomato burrata salad (see photo) which was equally tasty. Really recommend.

We went to the Albion to try their fish and chips and we were not disappointed!!. The atmosphere was great and our server was excellent. Definitely recommend if you're in the Bristol area and need to grab a bite to eat.

Fantastic little place, can’t recommend the roast highly enough if you’re in the local area. Great service and reasonable prices for the quality/quantity of food.

We were greeted by a lovely security guard who helped us find a seat. The atmosphere at night was lovely but only gets 4 out of 5 stars due to an untasteful amount of fairy lights. The biggest issue was the chocolate brownie dessert. It was in fact not a brownie but a chocolate cake, which was incredibly dry and served without sauce. I expected more for £7.50. Never again.

It's an old traditional pub located in Clifton village. We went for a lunch on Saturday with friends and everyone had a nice time. They have limited food options, but the quality of food is on the spot. We had calamari and spicy chicken wings for starter and fish and chips as a main. There is no doubt food is good and service is good. However, we did feel like staffs were on a rush and keep coming to check if we are ready to order.Pros: Ambience, food and drinksCons: Seating could have been improved.

Love love love this place! I had the battered haddock and it was literally the best fish and chips I have ever had. My friend had the steak and she said it was excellent. For dessert we shared an amazing sticky toffee pudding - it was heavenly. They have a good selection of beers and ciders and the service was outstanding.

Fabulous old pub near Clifton Arcade. Lovely day so sat outside. The service was exemplary and we were made very welcome. Lunch snacks scotch eggs, sausage roll and breaded brie were all great quality and value. Had a lovely time particularly our conversations with Joe.

Nestled in a quiet corner is The Albion, a charming 17th-century village pub that offers more than just beers and British meals - it serves up an enchanting slice of history. My gastronomic journey here was headlined by arguably one of the best fish and chips in town, crafted with exquisitely battered haddock. Each bite was a testament to the mastery of classic British cuisine, reminding me why this dish is a perennial favourite. The great tartar sauce deserves a special mention too.A chilled pint was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, and nothing beats savouring a cold, frothy IPA in a place that oozes history and character. In sum, our visit to The Albion was not only enjoyable but also well worth the investment. This rustic pub, with its tasty fare and a fine selection of beers, reaffirms why it remains a gem in the village. Don't miss out!

The food was not up to scratch to be totally honest. Steak was really chewy, calamari batter was damp, the steak sauce was quite cold. £5 coleslaw was literally a small cabbage salad. The chicken burger my wife had was over cooked. A nice place for a drink but I’d never eat there again

Absolute gem of Clifton Village! The best atmosphere, sun-trap beer garden, great selection of beers and ciders and super friendly and helpful staff. All in all best place for any kind of gathering and get together time.Highly recommend booking ahead of the visit as they operate table service only and it can get quite busy
