Pontcysyllte Chapel Tea Room
This tearoom is about five minutes from the Pontcysyllte aqueduct, Which is a World heritage site. You are also about 10 minutes away from the local county park. This gives you access to walks, views and so much more. The tearoom offers a wide menu that changes during the day. The food is fresh and very tasty. This pet and children friendly establishment is excellent value and well worth visiting. The tearoom is in a former Welsh chapel. You have a chance to visit a little bit of local history and meet local people from the area.

This little gem is ADORABLE...and the service and staff are the perfect match. The place is quaint and cozy. The food was affordable and fantastic. And everyone (including the regulars who clearly love to gather here) were just so kind and dear. It was the last day of our 5 week tour around the UK, and I needed a really great gift for our neighbors back in Sarasota, Florida, who looked after our house and affairs while we were away. I saw the last piece of Bara Brith on the counter, and decided to ask if there was any chance I could get an entire loaf to take for our friends. Although this isn't something they normally do (as they'd be baking repeatedly to keep up with the demand)...the owner took pity on me, and provided me with the most beautiful loaf ever seen by an American!! WOW!!! Just the best! Thank you for creating such a lovely atmosphere to enjoy the start to our day. The Chapel Inn ROCKS!

A great little find a short distance from the Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Initially we just paid the £2 for parking but once we finished our stroll we frequented the cafe for tea and a yummy slice of Victoria sponge. An added bonus was that the parking charge was deducted from our bill. The cafe is also dog friendly which is a big plus for us. All the staff we encountered were cheerful and polite. Thank you to everyone at the cafe for making our day brighter.

A restored Welsh Methodist Chapel, Bryn Seion is simply gorgeous. Now the Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom, it's retained most of it's original features for all to admire. The Staff were very friendly, big smiles and a warm welcome is so appreciated.Great selection of coffees, teas, freshly baked cakes, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads and amazing breakfasts is just perfect! The local historical attractions are simply amazing and beautiful. Thomas Telford's incredible worldwide known 'canal engineering feat' the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct completed in 1805 is simply jaw dropping stunning! Thanks to all the staff for such an amazing experience and visit, well done all!Highly recommended

Converted old Chapel, very close to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. We've visited this cafe several times and found it to be excellent in all respects. There's a large car park which, as customers, we weren't charged for.The tables inside the cafe are arranged on the ground floor, with further tables up some stairs. There's a good menu of well-prepared food at reasonable prices. The staff (all female) were very pleasant.Even the toilets were clean .There were several dogs in the cafe when we were there, including one rather annoying yapper. However. If dogs are your thing, then you'll be okay with that.Overall, you won't be disappointed. Our latest visit was in July 2023.

What a lovely place to stop, we are in a Campervan and was able to stay over in the car park, for a small fee then you get a discount on your breakfast, the food is so tasty and plentiful, and always a smiling face to greet you, thank you so much

Delicious breakfast in an ideal spot for the Aquaduct. Great parking system; £2 to park but that gets subtracted off of your bill when you buy something from the coffee shop / restaurant. Quirky room, really bright and airy.
