Fantastic morning throwing axes, knives, and shooting with my three children (10,13 and 17). Paul, Adam and Cian were great, providing the perfect mix of instruction and encouragement. Thank you!!

Surprised my brother Neil for his birthday and was not disappointed it was absolutely fantastic.I booked 3 different activities Archery including Crossbows with Paul, who is brilliant and a privilege to do this activity an Olympic coach. He was kind, patient and offered us help and support where needed, I completely missed the target with one shot!! He showed us how we were shooting and helping get the right technique to get the arrows in one area. Loved his terminology on how to remember holding the bow.We went on to do Axe & knife throwing with Harry who was such good fun, teaching us how to throw correctly helping get our technique right. Never thought we’d be throwing axes and knifes we had a blast.Lastly we went on to do Air soft with Harry, me and my brother became very competitive and also scoring the same each round!!! Firing guns to hit cans, targets, zombies and then the interactive computerised targets, racing against each other to get the fasted or highest score.What a brilliant day we had would highly recommend booking for your next adventure. Big thank you to Paul and Harry we had the best time.

Recently had an archery session with the wonderful Paul as our instructor. It's a very cold place this time of year, so wrap up warm - they provide complimentary hot drinks to stave off the cold too! Paul was very knowledgeable and an excellent teacher and the equipment is kept in very good condition.Had an excellent time and would 100% go again

An excellent afternoon with Ridgeway Adventures. Our group of 6 began with archery (and crossbow) led by Paul, assisted by Zack. The introduction to the bow, positioning, actions and safety was very clear and understandable. Paul spent time with each of us, correcting stance and grips initially before explaining how to improve our aim. I appreciated that Paul accommodated some of my physical difficulties so that I was able to continue to meaningfully participate. The additional snippets of history added to the explanations really rounded out the experience.Axe throwing (and knife throwing) was our next session. Again a clear introduction to the axe, safety and technique was provided before the throwing began. Our tutor spent time with each individual to refine technique or provide guidance.After a short tea break, our last activity was the laser maze. This ended up being the most physically demanding of the 3 activities, but also created much laughter. The provision of different goals (handcuffed with another, blindfolded and directed) allowed several different levels of enjoyment, but the challenge of getting through the maze and back without alarms and within time was a tough challenge in itself.The staff were friendly, and we were shepherded into the right places in a relaxed way.The 6 in our group all enjoyed it, and we are already planning our return visit.Highly recommended.

Great time throwing both Axes and knives. The instructor Harry was great fun and very informative! 100% would go again (sorry for breaking the hoop with the hat throw trick shot)

Booked axe throwing with my family (6 people) in October. The place was really easy to find and no trouble parking. Harry was a really good instructor, gave us a safety briefing and taught us lots of different throws. It can be cold in there so I would recommend dressing warm, however you warm up quickly when you start throwing. Would definitely go again.

Had a wonderful time axe throwing at Ridgeway adventures. We were a group of 4 and paid extra for the knife throwing opportunity as well. The instructor Graham was great, made us feel safe but also helped each of us with technique and aim so that we all got a good result.Harry on the front desk was also super friendly. It was a cold day and we were able to get warm drinks and even went pumpkin picking afterwards for a really wholesome day.We would definitely recommend and might be back to try archery!

Me, my brother and my parents went axe throwing together.The instructor we had was very nice and informative about all the rules and safety, as well as teaching us various trick shots to throw an axe in style. We also played around with the angel axe, which was very satisfying to use.I do not have any issues whatsoever, and we all enjoyed our time throwing the axes.We will absolutely come back here again and try out the different activities.Finally, I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in axe throwing.

My friends booked me axe throwing as a surprise belated birthday day, and it was so much fun. We were looked after by Cain who was fantastic. At no point did I feel that the activity was unsafe or that I didn't know what I was doing. I liked that he started with the basics and then every now and then would show us something new, such as a new move or a different axe. There were people there of all ages enjoying it together. Highly recommended. I will definitely be going back for the archery.
