Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! Just gutted I couldn't eat the cake as I'm gluten free, but found out when i picked my sons up that they do make gluten free cakes. Can't wait to order the next one which I'll be able to eat!

I ordered a cake from Balloons & Bakes for my son's first birthday and was so impressed! Helen and Julie took the time to chat to me about what I wanted the cake to look like and offered lots of helpful ideas to make it look great. When I picked the cake up it looked exactly how I'd pictured it! It was such a beautiful cake and we got so many compliments on it; the details were incredible! It was also absolutely delicious - we went for a lemon flavour which was lovely, and I now want to try even more of their flavours as they have an impressive selection to choose from. The customer service was also brilliant, Helen and Julie are so friendly and payment and collection were super easy. There is a huge range of balloons and decorations on offer in the shop too. I'd definitely use them again and would highly recommend them if you're looking for a special cake or any party supplies!

What a FANTASTIC place! I had no idea what sort of cake my little girl wanted but Helen and Julie patiently talked her through ideas. The most beautiful Rapunzel cake, covered in icing dress, flowers and hair appeared. I was able to order and collect all the wrapping paper, balloons and badges as well. When we went to collect the cake, they made a real event of it for my daughter. And OMG the moisture and taste of the chocolate cake was beyond delicious. If you are planning a party or celebration then Balloons and Bakes are everything you could desire and more.

Excellent service and fabulous cake and balloons for my Dads 70th Birthday from Balloons & Bakes of Old Catton.The cake was made as per the brief (Everton Football Shirt) and so much time and care had gone into the detail to match the shirt that the players wear this season.It tasted amazing - it wasn't around for long! :-) Unlike the balloons - which lasted weeks! Such great value on both accounts. Would highly recommend Helen & Julie for all occasions!

We have used Balloons and Bakes for the past couple of years for allBirthday and celebrations. Their customer service is out of this world as is their Balloon displays and Bakes quite literally! We have allergies in our house and they bend over backwards to make sure we still have what we want just safely!! They have everything you need in one shop so no need to go running around all different ones! These ladies just make the whole experience of shopping 100 x easier and better! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Wonderful ladies who went above & beyond to make a birthday cake at short notice when we had been let down.Not only was the cake delicious but were also able to make it diary free without any problems.

Amazing cake for my daughters 1st birthday! Went down very well ! Strawberry milkshake flavour! Mmmmmmmmm! Last slice went down well for breakfast with a coffee! Thank you all !
