Every Birth Matters - HypnoBirthing and Doula in Solihull

My husband and I made the best decision ever when we've decided to have a doula. Katy and Kirby are such amazing people. From the start we felt their warmth and understanding and that made us to be very opened towards them. We didn't felt judged once and our decisions have been supported by them.I wanted a natural and non medicated birth, so I decided to have the hypnobirthing course as well. The course gave us so many details on what to expect and how to cope with the labour and different situations by using different techniques. This put us in a very optimistic mood regarding the arrival of our little one.Katy covered most of the hypnobirthing course and the doula session and Kirby was the one to attend the labour and birth. When the surges started, she came in and we had a long walk. Then she gave me a foot massage and had a conversation about what to expect. My labour was very long so she couldn't stay all the time with us, but she was at the other end of the phone and she came whenever I needed her. She is such a warm and good person. I can say she was there for me like my mother would have been.I also got support from both of them with breastfeeding my little baby girl. I can't thank them enough for what they did for us.I would definitely recommend them.

I honestly cannot thank Kirby enough. She was supportive, passionate and so full of knowledge that I felt really confident and empowered going into my baby’s birth.I went 10 days past my due date and I couldn’t help but get stressed as I had anxieties about having to be induced however after discussions with Kirby I felt so much more relaxed, she really helped me to understand my options and it put my mind at ease.I ended up going into labour on the day of my induction and it all happened very quickly meaning I only had time for gas and air (if you’d have told me this at the beginning of my pregnancy I would have panicked) however I look back at my birth as a positive experience. I honestly believe this is down to Kirby and the support and advice she gave me, as well as the confidence and knowledge she instilled in me in knowing I could do it!

We chose to do hypnobirthing for our 3rd baby and found Katy through google. Katy immediately put us at ease and talked us through things step by step. Katy is very knowledgeable and the way she explains things is easily understandable. Thanks to Katy we had the most positive birthing experience and we will be forever grateful. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Katy and her services for all mums to be.

I completed my Doula preparation course with Katy at Every Birth Matters in September 2019. The course was amazing and so interesting. The group size was small enough that it felt like you knew everyone well by the time the course had finished. Katy is a great teacher and uses a variety of excellent resources to deliver a really interesting and engaging course. It is definitely the best course I have ever been on and I would recommend it to any budding Doulas.

My goodness where to start! Katy was the most incredible doula for our second pregnancy and birth. After a long and traumatic birth with our first daughter 3 years ago, getting pregnant again was exciting but scary. I really wanted a homebirth as I was terrified of ending up in hospital again with lots of intervention and with so many unanswered questions first time round, I really felt like it was important to have someone there for us and also making me feel like I could do it. Katy provided incredible support during pregnancy, letting me talk at her for hours and giving me the confidence I needed to feel prepared for this labour without feeling traumatised about what happened before. When I went overdue she was a beacon of knowledge and hope when I felt wobbly about induction and gave me the confidence to stick to my guns and go with my instinct. And when it finally came to labour which all happened very very quickly she got to us so fast and was just so wonderful, supportive, nurturing but also completely allowing me to birth myself and own it!If you're considering a doula or worried about birth and feel you might need extra support I could not recommend Katy more.I will forever be indebted to Katy for having such a positive birth experience, it was truly a fantastic experience.

Katy I honestly cannot thank enough. She was supportive, passionate friendly attentional kindness etc and so full of knowledge that I felt really confident and empowered going into my baby’s birth. And I was so stress because I was by myself and she find what to tell me to fine even when the pain during my labour a lot she was before my labour test me call me if as was having any questions I felt not alone even after the birth. She did like Family she teaches me how to eliminate my anxieties so I was calm I really don’t know God just send her to me even 5 stars is not enough. Thank you so much

Hiring a doula was the best decision me and my husband made when planning for our baby's birth. We looked around for doulas in the area and decided to go with Katy at EBM as she was very understanding and supportive from the get go.I suffered from some post birth complications and Katy stayed with us throughout the whole duration. She also helped me to breastfeed in the early stages after birth and provided us with excellent advice and tips from postpartum healing to caring for a newborn.Katy was so supportive and such a calming presence. She made me feel empowered and confident in myself in that I could get through it all, especially the hard (and painful!) bits. We cannot thank her enough and I would recommend every expectant mother to go with Katy at Every Birth Matters. Worth every single penny!!!

We found Katy through a google search with great reviews and she has totally lived up to that and exceeded our expectations. She is funny, friendly and has a deep knowledge and compassion about hypnobirthing. Katy delivers her teaches with enthusiasm and belief which has guided me and my husband to understand birth better than we thought we knew. If it weren’t for Katy and her teachings our birth would of been a total different experience, her teaches eliminated my anxieties so I was calmly prepared for any changes during my birth to still have a positive birth. I would highly recommend Katy for anyone who is looking to channel their natural pain relief and to feel empowered during birth.
