A great place to visit on bon fire night and for the Santa train ride. We've been on several occasions and have always been made to feel very welcome by very friendly volunteers.

We all enjoyed this, having initially visited for the kids, we all walked away with smiles and said how good it was. Not a full day out but all free, though they do accept donations to help with the running of the trains.

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful people who have a passion for trains. Lots of people enjoying rides, also has a small cafe on site whereyou can purchase hot or cold drinks, cakes and crisps. Very family orientated, parking is available and caters for wheelchair access. Well worth a visit.

My 3 year old boy adores this place. Riding mini trains, watching model trains running and having a bacon sandwich. The real cherry on top is how friendly all of the volunteer staff are.After our first visit, he kept asking to go back, so I told him he has to save up some money for the donation box. For a solid week he collected coins from us and his grandparents, not putting a single any of it towards treats. He had a little over £5 in the end so we had to go back and he put all of it in the donation box. He loves this place that much :-)

Went for bonfire night, fireworks and bonfire was great but the organisation of food stalls and queing was terrible everything all over the place couldn't tell what was what and what que was for where.
