Marine Super Store - Head Office and Warehouse

I’m not able to leave a zero rating, but would have had it been possible.I ordered 2 jackets in December 2020, the first arrived in January but the second jacket still hadn’t arrived by May, so I contacted them only to be told that the order has been cancelled by them, I received no contact whatsoever from them to let me know this so have been waiting patiently for nothing. I could easily have bought the same jacket elsewhere in this time so to say I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Pleasant staff . Found what I was looking for but they needed an app to find products and prices when we were right in front of them! Why can't all products have prices on them? It would be easier for both customers and staff- imo

Went to get a sailing suit. Extremely large range and sizes. Typical however, that the helly hansen suit I wanted, they didn't have the size and were low on stock. I was able to choose another suit by Gill and they had the sizes to ensure I got the right fit. Staff were on hand for advice so all in all a good experience. Didn't need any chandlery this time but I took a look around and they had a good range as the shop is large.

Placed an order which was despatched promptly and efficiently. 1 item was mis-picked but a quick email and all was sorted with absolutely no fuss, the replacement arriving the next working day. These guys obviously run a slick operation and I will definitely use them again.

What a great chandlery. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, with a vast array of stock.They gave me great advice and I didn't have my wallet raided.. too much!They also do mail order, which is very useful as I am based away from the area and unless I am visiting my sister it isn't really practical to shop there.

Ordered the Isotherm Refrigerator Cruise Elegance 85 Litre which arrived within a few days.Realised it was not in the shape expected as I needed a curve on the lower back end of the fridge so it would fit into my caravan. Contacted the Marine Superstore by phone and talked with Dean who without any fuzz made a return order and a new order on the 65 liter that would fit. I even got a credit on the price difference between the two.The fridge has now run continuously since mid April 2020, cooling perfectly on a setting of 3 (between 0 and 7). Lately, the outside temperature has been on 30-33C and I have turned the fridge up on a setting of 5 where it is cooling nicely and also maintaining the small freezer absolutely frozen.This fridge is a 12V ONLY, not a 3-way absorption fridge that tends to overheat and taking a huge amount of amps from your batteries. It runs almost soundless and only uses about 20 amps over night.I can strongly recommend other campists to deal with the Marine Superstore

I can only applaud Marine Super Store. Their staff were very helpful, polite and courteous. I ordered a Suzuki Outboard and this was delivered within 3- days, an excellent service. Thank You

Very disappointed by the staff and the standard of service, not what I was expecting. The staff were young and inexperienced. I ordered online and came to collect the pieces I had ordered and paid for. I joined the long queue when reaching the desk I showed them my confirmatory email. The young assistant said she would get them then asked the customer behind me to come forwards and asked if I minded if she served this person first as he had been waiting a long time. I said I had been waiting the same amount of time and would rather she got my items. She stood around for some time before heading off to the back store. When she arrived back she handed me the carrier bag and asked the next customer forwards. I checked the items and asked for a receipt but she said she had to serve the customers to reduce the queue....I thought she was rude and completely out of her depth with customer care. I won't be using Marine Superstore again and I have told my colleagues in the industry about the treatment - go somewhere else if you want good customer service. 1 out of 5 because the items were really good, 0 to of 5 for customer service.

You don't need to own a boat to visit this place. Good stock of all weather clothing. I highly recommend this store. Very clean with friendly staff, you can browse without getting harassed. Parents with little monsters beware of water danger. This is deep.

Purchased a pair of deck shoes on-line. They seemed to arrive almost before I had finished ordering them!! Talk about fast!! Great shoes. Perfect for size and extremely good value. Really impressed. Thank you
